Bio Photo When starting down this road called genealogy, my mother asked that I find where Moses A. Freeman was buried and prove that all the South Point Freeman's were related. Mission Accomplished Mom.

Father-in-law Reuben Higgins asked me to find where John Higgins' came from....still working on that one.

I'm certainly honored to help find his grave and take a picture of his memorial. There is a special place for people like him.....Best, Kay

William F Ferguson
Carolyn,

When I took the photo for Wm. Ferguson, I also photographed Roy D. and Mary S. Ferguson who are buried just a couple of graves away. No idea if they're related or not.

Charles Meehling
Carolyn,

Regarding the memorial I created for Charles Meehling, father of Elizabeth (Meehling) Woodard (my great-great grandmother): My source for his burial is a 14 Feb 1909 Huntington Herald-Dispatch article recalling the murder accessed at the Cabell County Library. He is not in the RootsWeb Doors to the Past index, so I suppose he is unmarked. If you find any information supporting or contradicting that conclusion, please let me know. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Woodard/Simpkins/Hay/Smith

PS: Robert & Henrietta Stanley (#132756137) deeded 100 acres of land to Charles Meehling for $100 in 1871

Hogans
Hi Carolyn, I took a quick trip to Sacred Heart Cemetery and found a couple of your Hogans. I added 4 more others in the same cemetery. Paul Charles & Charles were buried near James P & Bess. If you want the memorials transferred, I'd be happy to. One of the ladies DC's said she was buried in St Joseph Cemetery in Ironton, obviously there isn't one. She is at Sacred Heart.
