Hi Nancy,
I went ahead and did the transfer for you, I am sorry for your loss. I am so glad that he is being claimed by a family member.
The correct way to do a transfer request is actually easier than having to leave a message and type in all the numbers. All you have to do is go to the person's memorial that you would like to have. At the top right there is a link that says Edit. Then click where it says "Suggest a correction or provide additional information". Then all you need to do is state your relation and that you would like a transfer. Providing you are logged-in to Find-A-Grave when you do so, the system will automatically input your member i.d. number and the memorial number in which you are referring. Have a great Valentines Day, and again, I am so sorry for your loss.
Take care of you and yours and love those around you like there is no tomorrow and you will have no regrets.

I did some checking and I am a second cousin twice removed of her husband. Other than that, I know nothing except what tells me. Wish I could be of more help.

Next time you have a question either write to me at or go to the memorial in question and click on the [edit] option in the upper right corner, then choose the first option.

RE: Weems Family
I am afraid the person who created Mabel & Della's memorial would have to add their father to their memorials-Sharrell

RE: Della
It was Mabel Voight from her last husband Ben. I used to put Mabel in a headlock and she'd giggle like a schoolgirl.

George and Faun were sent to an old folks home and ended up passing away 2 days from the other.

No doubt my grandmother fed you a steak on hre cast iron skillet with sliced potatoes and maybe some pudding. I sold her house but kept the front door for when we build an extension along with her wind chimes, and that picture of Larry she had on her wall. I live in Sacramento so those things and some other little stuff were all I could take given the room in the rental van that was left.

Faun & George always took fishing for catfish at Fairmont cemetery and we also played pool for hours in their downstairs. Vina died in 2009 I believe. I talked to her 2 days before she died and she seemed in good spirits. Faun mde me ride the 'octopus' at old Elitch's because I was scared stiff.

RE: Della
You've got the right Della then. Tom & Harry are the only ones I could think of. I don't know where tthey are buried though.

Faun and Mabel had the colorful personalities. I can still hear Faun cackling when she thought someting was funny and Mabel always said "why yeees" when you talked to her on a subject they agreed on.

I miss them all. I was with my grandmother(Della) until then end. I've got all her picture so no doubt you're probably in some.

RE: Della

It is. Her son Larry is next to her in front of the gravestone shown.

Are you sure she's your aunt? All of her siblings came over from Tennessee and were in Colorado and I knew them all. That and she was 83 when she died in 1998. Is there another sibling?
