Photo Request
Sorry , senior moment, wrong listing on previous note.
John J Moore is buried in the Soldier Section of Hollywood. There are over 18,000 Confederates buried in Hollywood. They originally had only numbers, first on wood than after the war on small blocks. Families have over the years placed headstones after researching.
In the last 30 to 40 years The Veteran Administration began accepting applications for Confederate Headstones The cost is free from the Administration, There is a $100 dollar fee from Hollywood for the foundation setting.
Here is the link for the paperwork to get the process started , if you so desire.

John J Moore
I saw your photo request for John J Moore. Someone else claimed the request, but I have a question. What was the name of your John J Moore's father, and your gg grandfather's name. My gg grandfather was C R Moore, and he had a brother named John J Moore, b. 1828. They were from Lunenburg.

Thanks,
Joe Neagle
