|I have been interested in family genealogy for over thirty years and have researched many of my family lines including, Stroud, Shanks, Green, Black, White,McLaughlin, Clinkenbeard, Traxler, Metcalf, Mallory, King, Vandike, and also my husband's family: Powell, Guffey,Williams, Dale, Shultz and many others. It is a very rewarding hobby and people have been so willing to share information and photos. I could not possibly have traced back as far as I have on our lines without their help. Thanks to everyone who has been so generous. I try to return the favors.|

|Doris Christensen||HOCKETTS AT SOUTHLAWN|
I seem to have misplaced your E-mail. Send me a note to mine so I can ask some questions regarding the Hocketts.
I also have a couple of photos that I don't plan on posting on F.A.G. that I'd like to send to you.
I've added some memorials and picturesd now so you can check them out and if you see anything that doesn't look right let me know.

Great to hear from you. On find-a-grave there are two photos. I am asking about the top picture. I have the bottom one.
My sister and I have been to the grave site. Everett King took us there several years before he died. We want to go back and fix the stone but haven't nailed down a specific time to get the job done.
I would be happy to share information too although I don't know if I have anything that you don't.
Do you believe that Eli King that married Benjamin and Pricilla was Benjamin's father? Or do you think it was someone else, such as John King?
Feelfree to write to me direct at firstname.lastname@example.org
|Phyllis Blondefield||Benjamin King|
I was very excited to see the older photo of Benjamin. Where did you get it? How are you related? I am descended through Benjamin's son, Samuel. I assume the stone is still standing. Everett King showed it to me before he died many years ago.
|Joanne Scobee Morgan||Mt. Hermon|
so, are you saying that Mt. Hermon and Mount Hermon are the same? Or that Jane Baughman is in the one in Chariton, Putnam Co., MO. ?
It's crazy. There is a Chariton County, MO., a Chariton in Linn Co., Mo., and a Chariton in Putnam Co., Mo. and they are all really close together. Putnam and Linn counties touch and I believe Linn and Chariton touch.
|Mary Crawford||RE: David Fredrick|
He is in the extended family tree (shirt tail relative.) What would you like to find out about them?
|Betty Saltenberger||Marshall King|
Hi, There is nothing wrong with the picture you put on there. It looks great. Betty
I am a new genealogist and have taken over my Mom's (an experienced genealogist) search for a dead end in our family tree. It is Marshal Kings father. Find a Grave show's him as Benjamin R King, though we have always thought he was Benjamin A (possibly Arthur) King.
Death: Dec. 22, 1872
Marshal's memorial number is 42252703.
Could you please let me know if Benjamin R King is engraved in stone? Are you a cousin?
Also, I am looking for any information on his neighbor and Marshal's father-in law, John Jefferson McClure. Would be happy to reimburse you for time spent on any new information.
Thanks for your consideration,

I see that you have added a headstone photo for Milton VanDyke. Could you add the photo to the memorial # 120343361 for Susan VanDyke? There is a request for a photo of the headstone for Milton, but I was unable to find him located in the Ottumwa Cemetery. Are they buried in the Ottumwa Cemetery?
