RE: E. C. Bailey grave marker Trinity Episcopal Edisto Is.
I just remembered, conversing about Sgt E C Bailey with Lucy C, about his marker and genealogy.

Do you have any additional details about him or his wife? She is buried in Magnolia in Charleston.

His memorial is: 59989245

I take it he was a 1st SGT in the CSA?
I would first check with the church for obtaining the grave site location in the cemetery, and permission to erect a marker on his grave.

My thought is perhaps the Sons of Confederate Veterans may wish to source a marker and have it carved with his information on it, and place it at his grave.

Find A Grave Memorial# 76697270

Hi Bill, thank you for your message to me. I understand that you are new to Find A Grave, but I am not the one you need to contact in this matter. All I did was leave a token on that memorial. I did not create the memorial nor am I responsible for anything on it, except my token. If you scroll down under the info there, it says: Created by: sticksandstones That is who you should contact. I visited every memorial page for that cemetery and left a token on each one. Good luck with your research and I hope you find the answers you are looking for. Sincerely, Vickie
