Pearce family
Dear Jeff,

Thank you so much for the photos of the graves of the Pearce Family in Fairview Cemetery, outside Simpsonville, Kentucky. Hattie Josephine Campbell Pearce was the sister of my grandfather, Dr. Roy Clifford Campbell, who is buried in Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville. You have probably guessed the linkages: Hattie was married to Robert Lee Pearce. Robert Lee was the son of Andrew John Pearce and Martha Elizabeth Cooper Pearce. Roy Campbell Pearce was the son of Hattie and Robert Lee. And, lastly, Mary Elizabeth Shindler Pearce was the wife of Roy C. Pearce. I have suggested edits to their memorials to show the linkages and expand upon their biographies. (I am rather certain the other Pearces in the Fairview Cemetery are kin to the ones I have mentioned above, but I have not yet figured out the links.)

Thank, again. Rod

Thank you so much for the photo of Richard McFarlan. No, I don't need any of the others, but please feel free to post them if you wish. They may help someone else. I am collecting info on all the Spanish American War soldiers of Floyd Co., IN. I will be sharing what I find with the local library and the web site of the Sons of Spanish American War Veterans. May I have permission to use your photo? I will be sure to give you credit. Thanks again, Douser
