Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born on February 10, 1976 in Dallas, Texas. I grew up in Mabank, TX, and moved to Anchorage, AK in 1993, and graduated Bartlett High School in 1994. I worked at Carr-Gottstein Foods, Atlas Van Lines, and Delta Staffing Services in Anchorage until 1997, when I moved to Florida.

I joined the Navy in May 1998, and after boot camp in Great Lakes, IL, I completed the Navy's Nuclear Power Program in December 1999. I was stationed on board USS NIMITZ (CVN-68) from January 2000-August 2004. I then attend Radiological Controls Technician Qualification School at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA from October 2004-March 2005. I was then stationed at Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA, from March 2005-December 2007. I then transferred to USS CARL VINSON (CVN-70) from January 2008-August 2012. I then transferred to Ship Repair Facility-Japan Regional Maintenance Center, Yokosuka, Japan, in September 2012, where I implemented and administered the Navy's Fukushima Fallout Remediation Program for the ship's forward-deployed there. I left Japan in September 2016 and reported back to CARL VINSON, where I am currently the Leading Chief Petty Officer for Number One Main Machinery Room. I will be stationed there until I retire in May 2018.

I am happily married and have a son, a daughter, and a step-son. I am a graduate ofFlorida Institute of Technology with a MS in Project Management. I am a military history buff, I love to travel, and I am an avid collector of world banknotes.

Hi David - Thank you for posting photos to Adam's memorial. In the pic where he's in uniform, would it be possible to slightly crop off the torn paper areas at top and bottom?

Honoring Their Lives
Force image
Aww, thanks so much for adding the photo of Taylor Force wearing his West Point uniform to his memorial page. It is greatly appreciated. Such a tragic event to happen for this young man who served his country. Interesting that he attended Vanderbilt University while working on his graduate degree. I work at the university hospital and this sad news has been in our on-line newsletters and e-mails. Helen

The name popped right out at me because my brother was in her air group during VN, well before your time.
