I'll try to get back there some time, on a sunny morning if possible, armed with a bottle of water and a squeegee, in the hope of being able to make the lettering show up better. The old stones are very worn.
The photo shows a corner of the new church on the left. The old one is to the right, its windows bricked up, evidently in an unsafe state.

I have made the connections you suggested. Thank you!

Hi my name is Paula Woods and Margaret is my grandmother, my mother Beverly Rose is her only surviving daughter. Margaret had 4 daughters but Marjorie, Joan and Gail have all deceased.
I just happened upon this site because our first grandson was born on January 4 and I googled Sam to confirm his birthdate. Grandpa Sam and Grandma Margaret helped raise me and one of our grown daughters is named after Sam, Samantha. We had promised Sam we would name one of our children after him and when it was a girl we settled on Samantha and Sam was thrilled.
Before Sam, Margaret was married to Botsford and he was the father of 3 of her girls, my mother Beverly does not know who her father is. It is my understanding that Margaret had an affair while married to Botsford and she got pregnant with my mom. Margaret was a force to be reckoned with, she always felt like she had been abandoned by her mother and was raised by an aunt and uncle who were very harsh. She had many stories that she shared with us. I loved she and Sam dearly. I would be thrilled to see pictures of Margaret's father.
Beverly will be 84 years old on 2/5/15, she has an iPad and is very adept on the computer. I will look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Paula

Thank you for the all the information. I have added your notation to the bottom of his memorial giving you credit. Have also assimilated some of the information into the memorial.
Have a nice Christmas.

Thanks for the information. I think his brother, William, must have been a half-brother born in 1846. That is unless his father named two sons, William.
I appreciate the photo, have added your notations, & given you credit.
MO DC#12841: his father said he was born in 1880
It also says his name is Charles C. Keltner, so was his name Charles Christian Keltner or Charles Christopher Keltner? I sent this info to Carol who has the original memorial, but she has not
had any activity on her messages page since Nov. I wonder if she is active any longer.
I will need to delete my memorial JD

I didn't link them. You will need to contact the contributor of Rosettas memorial and discuss it with them.
I am attaching your correction but not deleting the other. Will try to contact her. Kay
