RE: Richard Hadley Memorial
I appreciate you having to look further into it. It appears it is your family tree on ancestry.com that I saw information for Richard and family in. (This tree has the same profile picture as the one you have on findagrave). When I did a search for Richard at ancestry.com, your family tree information comes up since it is set to public. You have a photo of the head stone and list Richard's birth month and day as the same as the memorial on findagrave, but list the year as 1887. Also his middle initial is listed as G. The 1900 US Federal Census lists Charlotte as the head of the household, born Nov 1837 and Richard Hadley born Sept 1887 as her grandson. (Also there is Alice Hadley- born June 1898- listed as Charlotte's granddaughter). The headstone on findagrave is hard to read in the photo, but I will be in East View in the next few days attending to some relatives graves. I will see if I can better decipher the year of his death. I created the memorials for William and Anna (who would be Richards parents if the year is 1887 not 1837) and would like to link him to them if this is the case. Thank you for responding and I look forward to your reply. -Dawn D.

RE: Recent Photo additions.
Hey John,

AS much as I would love to honor your request, Harrellsville is almost 100 miles from me or more. I haven't been thru there in over 20 years... It is east of Ahoske, NC and I live in Nash County.
Maybe one day...
Have tried requesting someone from that area...??

Sorry,
Fred

RE: Need Assistance
Hi John,
If you would send me the info needed, I'd be happy to see if I could help. I am in and out of NC a couple of time each year, and plan to be going back in a week or two. I have photographed several cemeteries there and may have something you are interested in already.

Hi John,
While working on my tree I have photographed several cemeteries. If you would send me their names and any dates that you have, I would look in my photos. My email address is hinzlinda@hotmail.com

I'm wondering if you know anything more about this woman's first husband, William Whitley? I believe I am related to him and am trying to tie my Whitley line to his.

Thank you very much,

Julie
