|klassikat||RE: Dennis Wenman|
You're very welcome. I'm glad he had a marker and you were definitely correct about the boat. He is just off the road close to a bush if you ever make it to Tacoma.
What a great story about having been adopted after their beloved son passed. They must have remarkable people.
And they say...."6 degrees of separation". Guess that applied to you, your family and your wife's family.
I'm sure the boy who was flying the plane was affected by the death of his friend...but probably more so having served in Viet Nam. So on top of those experiences, he probably remembered his friend dying too many years before. On top of a marriage breaking up and no employment many vets end up living on the streets which is so sad. My thoughts to on top of all of that they don't like confined spaces.
You are welcome for the help. Being a graver is a passion of mine. I've found so many of my relatives on it that I try to pay it forward as they say.
Best regards, Andi - klassikat
Hi Mr. Wenman, Looks like his marker has different dates than what are on his site. Hope you are pleased.
|klassikat||New way to receive "Edits"|
Hello Mr. Wenman, I don't know if you are aware of the new way to ask to have information added to a site. So thought I would pass on the information.
If you go to your Profile Page, there is an EDIT button just below your name, ID # and how long you've been a member. You should see a tab that has Edit 1 as I know there is at least 1 request showing as I'm the one that sent it to you. Click on the Edit 1 and you should see "Name" with Dennis Wenman on the left, then "Current", then "Edit" and under that Edit you'll see what people want to add or change. I sent you the location for Dennis.
But if you don't find it using the info above, his plot is Lot 1, Block A, Section 11, Grave 344A.
Hope this information helps as well. I'll be posting some pictures later tonight.
You're welcome and thanks for the compliment. I've claimed your request. I know his location but if he's on a hill, I won't be able to do it. I get vertigo walking and looking down.
This my be inappropriate to ask...but are his parents still living? If not, do you know where they are buried? If you do, you can link him to them. That's easy to do as well. If you need hints on how to do that, happy to help.
Hi Mr. Wenman, Good job adding him. Now...delete your request for Leonard and request one for Dennis and you are all set.
To delete, click on Leonard's site, then the Tacoma Cemetery link on his site, then on 16 photo requests, find Leonard and then I think it says Remove Request or something like that.
Hi, If you are sure Dennis is buried in Old Tacoma, add him to F.A.G. and then request a photo. If you aren't familiar with adding, I can do it for you and then transfer him to you. But it's really easy to add someone. On the left of your F.A.G. screen, there is a link that says "Add Burial Records" - click on that and then click on "Family And Friends" on the left and away you go to get him added. I'm going to be gone for awhile so if you have problems, let me know and I'll try to help. Hope that works for you.
Hello Mr. Wenman, I'm confused as to why you are requesting a photo of Leonard Wenman's marker when you are wanting one of Dennis. Can you clarify please? Thank you.

Welcome to FindAGrave! You will find it quite addicting. St John's is currently under a blanket of snow...maybe in the spring! Happy Holidays!
