Bio and Links
My name is Rita Elaine Hauf. My maiden name was Rita Van Coutren. My father was one of 12 children, all of whom served during WWII, the most on record. 9 boys and 3 girls all enlisted and served; which is a record I believe still stands. My Father was Paul Benedict Van Coutren and was raised in Missouri.

My Mom was Josephine Mary Van Coutren. Her maiden name was Josephine Mary Cush. She had a brother and a sister and was raised in Iowa. I haven't been on this site in quite some time, but plan to do so in the near future. 3-21-2016

Transfers are complete
You may notice my name may not be on all of the transfers since I did not originally create them. So you may see one the VA created and another by a Find A Grave contributor. When linking family members, the linkage is up and not down. Meaning you have to link children to parents and their spouse; however, you cannot link siblings in the family links area. Best regards, Scott

Van Coutren family
Would you like me to transfer the ten Van Coutren memorials to you to manage? I would like to do so very much. Please read my bio and you will see why.
Best regards and welcome aboard to Find A Grave,
Scott W.
