Here is a list of my wife's family names: James, Wood, Pitts, Pearson, Meharg, Roberson, Pierce, Potts, Osmon.
I appreciate what others have done to help me with my family research and would like to help others by posting photos I have taken. Please feel free to use any photos for your own personal family tree.

RE: Smith Relations
Hey Mike. You probably know my brother-in-law, John Smith, ownes the J&J Antiques on the square. Parents are Hanley & Dimple Hutchins Smith. Hanley's parents Leonard & Annie Cross Smith. Leonard's brother was Preston (Press) Smith and lived in Stone County. Is Junior Smith one of your cousins - he lives here in Izard County now, but grew up in Stone.

John J Tarvin
(Confederate soldier of the 24th Arkansas)

Do you if John J Tarvin was ever called "Jack"? I have seen a Confederate Veterans uniform with the name "Jack Tarvin" in it.

RE: Smith Relations
No, kin to Hanley Smith from Izard County, but born in Stone County at Herpel. His mother was a Cross. Sutterfield sounds like a Stone County name.
