Bio and Links
Bio Photo After visiting Arlington National Cemetery in 2012, I became interested in learning more about my ancestors and my heritage. I have done extensive research in both Pickens and Newberry Counties, SC and love sharing information with other fellow genealogists. My family interests include the Cole, Fant, Roark, Kelly, Hunt, Day, Looper, Edens, Lynch, and Hendricks names from Pickens County, SC and surrounding areas.

I wanted to tell you, Darlene, that the picture of Eugenia and Rhyden Grigsby with their family is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. Eugenia's sister, Franzoura Crouch, was my great-grandmother. I'll definitely be printing it to show my 96-year old aunt. She will love it.

Thank you for for your kindness Miss Judson was a grand lady who wrote and experienced a tidbit of how the North invaded our South. in the pretense of freeing the slaves when only 1.6 percent of the people owned slave that was bought from the North, No that war in 1861 was about power and money just like today. again thanks for your kindness

RE: Peter Brasselman
Hi, Thanks for making the changes. My great-grandmother was a Turpin and in this line. Many of my ancestors are buried in this cemetery. I was fortunate to visit a few years ago. I have been doing my family's genealogy for decades.

Magnum
THANK YOU DARLENE for fulfilling my dream of finding someone to photograph the Magnum Cemetery in Newberry Co.SC. I have spent many a hour in SC finding my ancestors & this was the most elusive of all. William & Nancy Peterson's son, Hiram was my great great grandfather & I live in TX and no longer able to travel to SC, the land where most of my ancestors came from, so you have my most grateful appreciation for putting photos of the grave site of the Magnum's on findagrave.

You posted a photo to this memorial for Margaret E LONGSTRETH Newlon. I am wondering if I can use it in my personal records. She was my great great grandfather's sister. I don't recall ever seeing this photo before. Thanks

I also took a picture of Joel's wife Margaret Cole. Right next to them was Mary Isabell Cole 1860-1930 and Catherine Cole 1824-1877 w/o John B. Cole.
