Bio Photo I have 3 grown children 2sons and 1 daughter. together they have given me one grandson and 3 beautiful granddaughter. My grandson has blessed me with 3 beautiful great Grandchildren! @ boys and one girl!
I am searching for any memorials, graves ect. in the USA with the Rowe name. It through the years has had various spellings. I know very little about my fathers family except he had one baby sister that I knew. Her name was Lena Marie Redmond and lived in Indiana and Louisville, Ky.
My Paternal grandmother I was told is buried in Anderson Indiana. Her name was Zania and my Paternal grandfathers name was Robert J. Rowe all according to the 1920 census at the time residing in what was called Delaware, Ohio

RE: Grave sites claimed
It means someone has claimed the right to take the photo & add it to the memorial. The claim will stay on there 2 weeks unless they take & add the photo before then. They can renew it after 2 weeks, unless someone else catches it first. It's not considered appropriate to post a photo on the memorial with a claimed request. Once the claim is gone, anyone can post. Congratulations on beginning your volunteer photo work! You'll make a lot of people happy. Good luck, Bev

RE: oog transfers
Lena,

Managing means making sure things are accurate to the best of your ability. Firstly this is a grave registration site, additional info is helpful but not required. If people send you additions or corrections, add them if they enhance the memorial. Be aware that if you don't add something within 30 days of receiving the email, the sender can forward it to "edit" to have it added.

Look around at some of the memorials & you will see how people do it. I always cite the source of the information. Helps me & helps people researching.

Also, anyone can add a photo to a memorial. The person adding the photo may not be the memorial manager.

Read the section in the FAQ as it will give you a good guidelines about the memorials. Just take the plunge, but don't be too disappointed if some people don't transfer out of guidelines. Just keep going.

RE: oog transfers
Hi Lena,

Glad to have you join. To ask for a transfer, go to the memorial, in the upper right corner click the "edit" tab. There is a list, click the first one, suggest a correction. Check the small box so a copy will be sent to you. In the large box ask for the transfer, be sure to tell your relationship or why you want the transfer. It's also easier if you include your member number.
