Pascal White
Hi Karen, I accidentally hit enter on the previous message on Pascal. That info is an e-mail I got from the Saint Francis Cemetery in Waterville. I have been trying to find out where Pascal is buried to fulfill your photo request. I agree with this gentleman that probably Pascal is buried with his son Harold. It is described as the "family lot" in the newspaper and Harold bought the lot just a few days after Pascal died. I don't think it would be Alice's parents (Alphonse and Josephine Poirier) as they appear to be buried in lot 1325 in St Francis. When I took Harold's picture, I did take a picture of the "Father" marker so if you think it is him and want to change him to St Francis Cemetery, I will post those pictures of that plot. I can't find any record of Pascal being in Pine Grove.

I'm afraid this is a situation where I can't give you a definitive answer. Our cemetery started in the fall of 1899 but burial records only started in 1952. Prior to that only the purchaser of burial rights was recorded and families kept track of who was buried where. We have gone through the entire cemetery taking information from stones and putting the data into our computer to fill in as many gaps as possible but we will never have all the information we would like because some individuals have unmarked graves.
In the case of Harold White, Harold purchased the burial rights May 14th 1921, as you know Harold passed away in 1970 and was buried in grave # 4. Some time prior to 1952 a burial was made in grave # 1 and marked with a stone that just says Father, very common in those days. I think it is safe to assume it is Harold's father. In examining the lot further I can see a slight depression in graves # 1 & 2 using a probe it appears to me that another unmarked burial exists in grave # 2 but I can't be 100 % sure, I have been doing this for a long time and that is my opinion. It's possible that Harold's mother is there. I wish I could tell you more but that is all the information I have.

Harold White
Hi, I've posted the pictures for Harold. This plot is on a corner and unfortunately there are no first names or dates on the headstone. The only footstones are the one for Harold and one that says "Father." I asked the office if they could tell me who else was buried there and they could not. They said they did not have a record that said who "Father" is and as far as they know, no one else is buried there besides those two.
