Part of the problem at Oak Ridge is that there are almost no markers to show where you are in the cemetery. Al gave me a verbal description of the sections. I assumed that your plot locations starting with a "B" were in section B. I'm sorry we couldn't help you.

Dear Paulette,

My husband and I went to Oak Ridge this evening. As there are no actual section markers to be found in the cemetery we couldn't just go to a specific area. We walked the entire section B where your graves are supposed to be. We checked every marker and could not find Hilda Miller. Are you sure she has a marker? There are several Stewards in that section with spaces next to them. Since your brother has no marker, we could not distinguish his grave, either.

My next suggestion would be to get back in touch with Al Bradford and ask him to snap photos for you with his cell phone. I know he has done that for someone else. He's been the caretaker at the cemetery for 33 years. He cuts the grass and he just "knows" where many of the graves are.

Sincerely,
Tina

The sign on the little shed reads:
Oak Ridge Cemetery
Available by Appointment
Office 734 675 0660
Info: Cell 734-775-5159 Alan Bradford

I went to the cemetery today and looked for the surname while driving through and did not see it. Get some physical direction rather than just a plot ID, if you can, as there are very few physical section markers in the cemetery to be found.

Best Wishes, Tina

You have requested a photo for these graves at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Woodhaven, Wayne, Michigan. Do you have a location in the cemetery? I walk with a cane and its too hilly for me to canvas the entire place, but if you can tell me where to go look, I will take your photo.

RE: grover c flowers and annie lou flowers
hi pauletta thank you so much for your reply. my condolences on the loss of your father. my son, his wife and i are going to centerville in july. we are going to go to oakmont cemetary and look for their graves. so far i have traced back to the name of gideon flowers who would have been the grandfather of grover and a great grandfather to your grandfather. but i haven't found any other spouses names for any of grovers children. i was in centerville last when i was about 12. i got to see grover and annie lou but my grandfather was gone by then. i am now 58 so it's been a long time. i remember that grover and annie lou were living in a really small cabin like house.no one here in ohio even realized that grover had any children.again thank you for the information. at least now i know we are heading in the right direction.

grover c flowers and annie lou flowers
Hi pauletta my name is kathy predragovich. my grandfather was james dee flowers a brother to grover c flowers and annie lou flowers. i am researching the geneology of my family. the records i have show that uncle grover was married to a maggie hickman and they had nine children. Fred,Luther,Harry,Ruth,Louise,Mary, Fate, Johnnie Sue, and Billie. I think that your grandfather Luther might have been my uncle grover's son. if you could help help me with any information I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to know if I'm on the right track. my email address is katpred@yahoo.com thank you so much for your time.
