PHOTOS: Please feel free to use the photos I have added to burials for your personal use. As I have been inspired by the generosity of others, I hope that any photo or research info helps someone else in their family research. All I ask is that my name be attached to the photo.
UPDATE: Dear Friends, I will make every attempt to respond as quickly as I can to messages. If you haven't heard back from me, please send me an email directly. I've been caring for an ailing family member and my attention is drawn away but I will try to make any edits etc as best I can. Many thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.

My great grandparents, Wilhelm Magnus Hiort (Hjort) and Charlotta Olivia Andersson, both hailed from Sweden and settled in Peekskill. I take great joy in tracing the family line in Westchester County, New York.
PENNSYLVANIA: My paternal grandfather, Carl Christian Bach hailed from Germany but it was his father, Carl Christian Herman "Herman" Bach who along with a brother, Christian Wilhelm Bach, found their way to the USA and settled in Luzerne County from Rhoden, Germany. My paternal grandmother, Anna Helena Andersson, along with her siblings each made their way from Goteborg, Sweden to the USA settling in Luzerne county.
"I saw behind me those who had gone, and before me those who are to come. I looked back and saw my father, and his father, and all our fathers, and in front to see my son, and his son, and the sons upon sons beyond.
And their eyes were my eyes.
5 The sun also riseth, and the sun goeth down,
and hasteth to his place where he arose."
From Ecclesiastes Chapter 1:
Like branches on a tree, our lives may grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one. All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today. Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

Would you like me to transfer the Hynard memorials to you? I'm not related to them.

Thank you for your addition to this history the memoriallooks like this today thanks to your work
There are Corwins in the last row you did not request; is that by choice?
|Bronx Aquarian||RE: Silleck and Corwin Family|
Please post the requests on find a grave. I am the one who does about 95% of the photography and I will have to go back anyway to shoot the individual stones.
|Joanne T||William Palmer|
Thanks for the information about William Palmer! Would you be interested in managing his memorial? I don't know him at all and would be happy to transfer it to someone with a link to him!
Let me know,

|William Hooper Gleason||Dominick Rizzuto|
Thank you for the update on Dominick's Find A Grave page. His wife, Rhea MYERS Salisbury Rizzuto, was the Great-Aunt of my wife, Helen Corinne CHARUHAS Bellos Gleason. My wife was always told that Phil Rizzuto, the baseball player, was a cousin. I still have not found the link. Do you know anything about this, maybe? Thanks again.
I will be glad to share my ancestry database with you, if you are interested in looking at what I have on the Rizzuto's?
