Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family history on and off for several years, but have been seriously addicted for over 5 years. I am so appreciative of those who volunteer their time and efforts and are so willing to share it.

I believe sharing helps to make this work move forward, but please be thorough in your research and don't just cut-and-paste. I'm amazed at how many mistakes are made because people aren't willing to read and verify.

If I've posted a photo you want to use in your family tree, including online, you have my permission but would greatly appreciate it if you would link it to the original. Not necessarily to give me credit, but I believe it helps to validate the source where information comes from. EXAMPLE: FindAGrave member #47929631; FindAGrave Memorial # (from the memorial).

"Done! Everyone in the family tree has been found and everything is perfectly organized including the photos," said no genealogist...EVER."

Elisha Hoops photo
T Brooks, the grandfather of Elisha Hoopes 1765-1838 is Nathan Hoopes. I have asked Lisa where she found the marker in question since I have an unknown burial place for Elisha...

Your suggestion:
I believe the photo of the grave marker attached to this memorial by Lisa belongs to the memorial of his grandfather, also Elisha Hoopes. His memorial is #18695751. Are you able to remove this photo from this memorial? Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Vida T Merchant
You are most welcome for the picture. The records that I am cross referencing with, do not list any children for Vida. Charles Edward Merchant, born 9 Oct 1842 and died 8 Mar 1904, is listed in the grave next to Vida. I have a picture of his headstone. There are no other Merchant headstones. I have photos of the entire cemetery and those are the only Merchants. Hope this helps. Have a good one-Marsha

William Lewis Sowell #161351480
Thank you for the sweet edit you submitted, I'd be more than happy to transfer William Sowell's memorial to your possession. Family belongs with family, regardless the distance. I also added his middle name to it as well! Goodluck on your family search, it's an addicting hobby lol
