Hi. About 20 years ago my mother got me started on Geneology. I've been researching off and on since, mostly in Massachusetts. I don't have alot of pictures for graves but I do have alot of info on what grave sights my family were buried in. The first graves I put in here were my Parents. |
I lived in MA until a couple years ago, now I'm in NC so I can't visit graves in MA but I can add info or edit things that I see incorrect.
Recently (2014) I received my mother-in law's genealogy notes. She had also been working on her family for years. I have been trying to incorporate her notes into my records and then add them to Find A Grave. If info came from her I add from Mary Butts' notes. Mary (Curran) Butts memorial page number is 39250519.

Found your memorial for Carlton and Mildred (Atwood) Kingsbury...... Are you related to them ? If so did Mildred teach school in Millis, MA ?

Oh... I had seen the record of marriage intentions for Elnora C. Wilson and Charles R. Plimpton 2 May 1856 in Maine. I had also seen the reference to Charles and his family in the book you cite.
Neither gives age, year of birth, or parents for Elnora/Elenora, and I was not able to find a record of her birth with my usual online sources.
If we go by her gravestone date of death and age (about 25 years...), she might have been born in either 1832 or 1833 depending on whether she was just shy of 25 years, just OVER 25 years (25 years, 3 mos) or a bit older than that (25 years, 6 months).
I will add the year 1833 for her year of birth along with a note that it is an approximate date.
Thanks for your added info.

Hi, I am wondering if you'd mind if I copy the picture taken of this headstone. James Perry was my 6th great-grandfather. I would like to add it to my tree on ancestry.com. I don't live in that area, and hope to visit someday. I appreciate all the work that you do. thanks, coleen miller (now in Knoxville, TN)

I have processed your corrections, except for the first name of Phille. Per Find A Grave rules, the name should be as it appears on the stone. I have noted in the bio that her name was Philadelphia.

Trisha, thanks for the correction on Job's parents. I found Joseph and 2nd wife Lydia in Groveland Cemetery but for some strange reason Deborah (Tilden) Bailey is buried in Westford Ma. I wonder what happened there? Her parents are in Scituate. Jim

Trisha - Thank you for the correction which I have completed.
all set with Mary Parkhurst links to her parents, Teresa
