My Name is Wayne E. DeLong, I was born in Norridgewock, Maine, moved to Rockland, Maine, 1947, Went into the U.S. Navy 1952, after separation from the Navy I moved to Bath, Maine and lived in the area until Nov 2012, Moved to Florida.
Worked BIW 1957-1968 as an Electrician which I did in the Navy, Worked for myself as Auto Electric and Carb until Dec 1971, went to work for McElman Inc until Dec 2000, Retired, went back to work on and off (lost), Hobbies Flying, Auto Racing, Genealogy,
Owned and operated Merrymeeting Airport from 1982 until 2002 after 9-11 fun was gone, sold my airplanes bought a large motor-home and did 38 States. (Had a Great time met new-old family and friends).
Started working on genealogy (I prefer family history) in 1984 and still going strong have taken over 2000, pictures of grave stone's and grave yards some unknown even to the towns, some day if I live long enough I will put them on find A Grave (Great Site) have Hundreds of pictures of family members, at present 5/13/202 I have 127,493 people in my data base, I am working all my 5th great grand parents down, DELONG, MacDONALD/McDONALD, TRACY, KINNEY, LOVELY, WEBB, LEIGHTON, Keirstead, THOMAS, Hood, BURTCHELL, KELLEY, Ackerson, DRAKE, Davenport, Rediker; ones in CAPS I spend most of my time on, others I add when I run across them.
I have also done some on the Irish Tracy/Tracey's in Maine to separate them from the the English Traci/Tracey/Tracy's my line.

I stopped for a time when my wife died in in 2016 but back at it now.
