We might be related/name question
Hi there! I'm compiling an extensive family tree, and you are the contributor for the grave of Katharine (Meanner) Nold. I was wondering where you got the name Meanner - is it her maiden name, or middle name? All of my records show her maiden name as Menger, but I know old records were often changed simply because handwriting was difficult to read, or people didn't know how to spell foreign names.
Also, my maiden name is Nold! :)

RE: Hinton Family
I have very few links to the Hinton's in Kentucky. My line began in North Carolina, then to Georgia and on to Arkansas and Texas. I do have 21,000 individuals in my Hinton tree that are dispersed across the country, but not many in Kentucky. If you have some names, I can index them and see if I have them in my tree.

Dear Flora,
I just wanted to thank you for adding the photo of my Grandfathers memorial stone. Out of all these years, I never knew he wasn't listed on fund a grave. I just figured he was. A use find a grave a lot from ancestral research on my Worley line a lot. Anyway, we lost my Dad (Arthur's son) nearly four years ago this October and just wanted to thank you personally for the photo. If you have any questions like info to add to his find a grave, then please don't hesitate to ask me. I'll tell you anything I can. My email is missourigirl38@hotmail.com

Sincerely,
Sherry Worley

Flora --I just made a request of a photo of Ernest's -Find A Grave Memorial# 82510056-headstone. Your photo for his wife Louise Myers -Find A Grave Memorial# 3836245- also includes the inscription for Ernest. If you would like to add your photo to Ernest's memorial I would certainly appreciate it.

RE: Family
Flora,
There are some Schmidt's in my family tree. I have to look them up to see exactly who they are.

MT OLIVET CEMETERY ST JOSEPH MISSOURI
I searched for your loved ones yesterday. This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved ones.
Stacey
