Robin may very well have worked in DeSoto her first year or so. I will find out. Can you send me an email so I can contact you directly? Getting to this page takes forever. My email is schwabele@ymail.com. Thanks.

I saw a message you left about Robin Anderton on Find A Grave. Robin was my cousin; we grew up together. You wondered whether Robin was your 2nd grade teacher. She was, indeed, a 2nd grade teacher for a number of years in Richardson ISD, from around 1984-ish (maybe 1985) for 10 or more years. After that, she moved to Oklahoma and taught alternative school for a few years. She returned and worked in Dallas ISD as a Reading Specialist (1999-2000), Lake Dallas ISD (2000-2001) as a Reading Recovery teacher, and then Keller ISD (2001-2002)in a middle school.

If you lived in Richardson, I'm sure Robin was your 2nd grade teacher and I'm really glad to hear she was your favorite teacher. She loved those 2nd graders more than anything. She was always so good with little kids, which is why she made the perfect godmother for my son, and a role model for her namesake, my daughter. We all still miss her, even 10 years later. Thank you for posting the memory of her.

I don't know if Robin was a teacher or not. She would have graduated college about 1983, if that helps.
