RE: Rittenhouse
Hi Michael,
You are right that all the individuals have flat stones. But there is a large family stone in the middle of them.

I'll try to insert a picture on Bobby's (Robert Morris Rittenhouse's) memorial page.

Bobby's mother, Hilda Louise Morris Rittenhouse was my aunt

Sadly, I guess the Rittenhouse Motor Lodge is no more. It has been sold. His sister Hilda Jean told me and the main home and originally cottages were also up for sale.

Thomas S. Ingham, Jr.
Mr. Dutton,

My late grandfather served in the Army Air Corps in China Burma India during WW2. I have established a database of names of me who served in the same Bomb Group, and Lt. Thomas S. Ingham, Jr. is among them. I'd like to know whether or not your family might have a photo of Lt. Ingham in his Air Corps uniform. If so. would it be possible for you to copy and share with me? Also, I'd be very interested in any info related to his service with the Air Corps. I have assembled a website to honor the men and efforts of the 7th Bombardment Group,, and would like very much to honor the ultimate sacrifice of Lt. Ingham. Please contact me at your convenience. Thank you. REgards, Michael Hernandez

RE: Interesting Surname
Hello Michael,
You never know, we may very well be related somehow. I was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and still reside in Delaware. Most of my family was raised in Sussex County and parts of neighboring Maryland counties.
I have been trying to compile the Dutton family tree. I have been somewhat successful in locating various pieces of information, but as with any puzzle, there are always more pieces that need to be found and placed into the correct space.
My father’s name is James R. Dutton. His parents were George M. & Nettie (Lowe) Dutton.
My grandfather (always referred to in the family as GM), is buried between his first 2 wives (Nettie & Leila). His 3rd wife (Erma) passed away in 2003, and is also buried in Delmar, alongside of her parents.

George & Nettie’s children’s information is as follows:

Catherine A Dutton 1910 – 1986
George W Dutton 1913 – 2004
Doris Irene Dutton 1916 – 2000
Harold E Dutton 1919 – 1945
Selby Dutton 1920 – 1986
James R Dutton 1923 – 1981
Paul F. Dutton 1928 – 1989
Nettie Ellen Dutton 1932 – 1997

(All but Catherine, George W. & Paul F. are located in Delmar)

GM’s parents are William J. Dutton and Arabella Dutton (my Great Grandparents). Although I have a copy of Wm. J. Dutton Death Certificate (1856-1921), which states he is buried in Sand Hill, I have not been able to locate his grave. Nor can I find any information about Arabella. She was born in 1857; I do know she was alive in 1950, since I have a photo of her along with her son George (GM) and my father James. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

However, in Sand Hill Cemetery, I have located William’s parents, Levin & Nancy. (Great, Great Grandparents). Levin died in 1912, Nancy in 1913.

Any information you can provide as if and how we are related, as well as any photos would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
