I am new to the genealogy field but have been busy in the last year updating my family tree. I made a trip to Illinois in 2012 to photograph many of my ancestors.

We live in Kernville, CA, in the mountains east of Bakersfield. I know about MD and all the family history there. We grew up in Whittier, CA. What part of So. CA are you?

These are my husband's ancestors. We are headed to IL this summer, from CA, to visit the gravesites. Have you been there? Would Like to make contact with you to see how you and my husband, Jerry Miller, are related. -- Ellen

Just want to be sure you are aware that I have added photos of stones for Johannah C. 1852-1932 and Ernest F. 1877- which were in the same plot as Alexander Kowalk at the Hurd Cemetery in DeWitt, Michigan. They are not linked in their memorials, but I presume she's his wife and Ernest is a son.

Thank you so much for the great photos. I was delighted to see the stone for Frank P. Burdick and was hoping that Isabella was his wife. Now I know that she was not, but thank you for helping me prove it. I was sure she would be buried with Frank, guess I will have to keep looking.
Thank you for your time and efforts and your kindness in taking the time to take such great photos.

RE: Gerzema in Peoria
Your welcome, glad I could help.
Other than Fred Sr's grave there were 3 other family members buried along side him. They were:
Daisy Gerzema 1908-1983, Howard J. Gerzema 1918-1974, Virgina P. Gerzema 1923-1974.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Dan
