RE: John Heierman
Hi Karen!
I also assume that the woman with him is his wife. John Heierman was my great-great-grandfather, and Sophia was my great-great-grandmother, so I guess we're distant cousins! John's son Harry was father to Dorothy Heierman McDaniel, who was mother to my father, Dillon Heierman McDaniel.
I'll look and see if I have any more pictures.
Nice to meet you virtually.
Best regards,
Gina McDaniel Tarver

Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery
Hello ~ Apparently you created this new cemetery in Hooper? (You have two memorials listed)

I talked to the church secretary today who informed me of the following facts: Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Washington County, (not in any town) uses a Hooper mailing address for convenience. Being rural, only Hooper will deliver their mail, versus them having to go into say Winslow to pick up their mail.

Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery (with 322 memorials) is located beside the church and is also in Washington County, not in any town. There is no Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hooper, Dodge County.

I hope this is understandable as I've tried to explain it as best as possible.

Therefore, if you concur, the cemetery you created in Hooper will be merged with the original cemetery in Washington County. Thank you for your response ~ Jo

August Hanneman
Thank you for your query on August.

I am active on findagrave and have extensive Hanneman information which I would like to expand and be able to assist others with. The info I have may show further connections with your family.

I'd be more than happy to add any info and make any connections on August Hanneman the you would like to have on his page. I would also attribute it to you should anyone want to get in touch.

Hello
Hello, probably Hello Cousin. Thank you for the edits and for the photos on the Kausler and Mathes in Trinity. I have the photos, but been too busy to get them all on. I was headed to the cemetery this afternoon before weather gets too bad, but got sidetracked. These would all be related thru my late husband's mother. If you noticed the blue house up front by the entry, that is where I lived many years and was the caretaker for Trinity. Much family buried in there and Zion. You can contact me thru any memorial I maintain, by clicking the edit tab, choosing "any other suggestion" and write your message in the box. That sends a direct email. Would love to hear your relationship. If you need anything from this area, just let me know.

Thanks again.

Photos of the Toogoods
Hi Anonymous,

I saw the photo of Ethel and Rex Toogood on Ethel's page and was messaging you to ask if I might have permission to use it in a published family book that I am working on for the Abinah Wood descendants. I am recieving no royalties for the book, but am trying to get as many (deceased) generations of Woods as I can in it.

That being said, I know we're likely third cousins!

RE: Margaret Wood Baird and Fam
No, my father's aunt Mabel, Charles Wesley Chapman and Birdie Fielding Wood's daughter, who was born around 1902 and is only on the 1910 census with her family. The Wood family is known for naming their kids after their family members.

RE: Margaret Wood Baird and Fam
I didn't have much luck either - her cousin Mabel Wood, daughter of Charles and Birdie is also a big blank.

Also - http://piratesnaiad.blogspot.com/2012/01/big-project-abinah-wood-descendant.html is the link to the project I am working on. On the blog post there is a photo of Maggie with her family. I don't know if you have a copy of it. Again, email me and I can send you info.

RE: Margaret Wood Baird and Fam
I found her on the 1920 census living with John and Charles living in Pittsburgh Ward 27. Email me off list and I will get you the info - and according to what you told me, we are third cousins - Ethel and my grandfather were first cousins!
