Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started my research off and on now for 20 years. Since my retirement I have more time to spend on it. I ran across find a grave and between it and Family Search I have gotten most of my information from those two sites. I also spend time indexing for Family Search to help others in their search for their family history.
Sometimes it seems like you just don't get anywhere and most sites want to you pay for information. I have never thought that was right public records should be just that public. I can see holding them from public view when they are alive but when they are deceased it should be posted on each states site so anyone searching for family history has access to them. I have even ran across Libaries that want to charge you for access to records. I give credit to this site and to Family Search for not charging and relying on volenteers to complete the records needed to make their sites complete.

I want to thank those that have made any of my families memorials and those that have transfered their control to me. I have others in my family that are doing reseach on family and when I can make it easier for them makes me happy. I want to be able to link family together and when there isn't a page make one when I get all the information I can on them.

I personally feel that all passed even if you don't know what cemetery they are buried in but have all other information a memorial page should be make. That doesn't mean I have stopped searching for added information. So if someone knows more information please contact me I am always willing to add information or link to someone that isn't linked.

If anyone that is closer related to anyone than I am that I have control of and wishes to take over the memorial please just ask.

When I get my heritage done I will be willing to help others.

Happy hunting.

John Marvin Harper
I was doing some research on my family and noticed that you had posted a picture of my grandpa, SSG John Marvin Harper, that I had never seen before. I was wondering if you had known him and could tell me about him or if you could send me some pictures if you have any more. I would really appreciate it. My e-mail is white84wolf@yahoo.com.
Thank you for your time.

Sincerely
Samantha Russell

Grandison Boone
Judy,
The memorial you made for him states it correctly but he is linked to his fathers 2nd wife. Could you please unlink it, Thanks

Grandison Boone's mother is NOt this woman. Please unlink it.
Here is explanation:

This memorial for Sarah is the second wife but is showing up as the mother of Grandison H Boone which is not correct as his mother died at his birth and there were only 3 children by Frances Anne 'Fanny' Boone and Hiram. Ratiff Rice, John Tipton and Grandison Boone. There is no burial site for her because it is not known!

Hiram Cassel Boone married Mrs Staple dau of Renfro had 8 children. See below. And how can this be straighten out? Thanks

RE: Otis Benton I
Judy, so happy to provide some family info. to you. I am not related to the Benton's. I found his bio online from a book called "History of Kentucky, volume 5" by William Elsey Connelley and Ellis Merton Coulter. Send me a message if you can't find it. I'll email you the link. Have a great day.

RE: Herschel Raymond Wright
Judy,
I am not directly related to Herschel Wright. So far I have found his children to not be interested in family history.

I think it's sad but have found you can't force someone to care about it if they don't.

Take care.
