Hello Keith my father is trying to find out some information on his brother who passed away as a child and was wondering if you knew how to find it, I thought I saw it on a website but now can not find it and I know you have access to places where I could possibly find it. My uncle's parents were Hubert Cleveland McDonald and Lillie Mae McDonald and his siblings were Phyliss, James, Leonard (Benny), Madeleine, Ethel, Henry, and Margaret. He was just trying to figure out when his brother was born and when he died and where exactly he was in the line of birth. Any help you can give me I sure would appreciate it.

I have news that I hope will straighten this out for you. I had the record pulled and Lynn Atkinson is actually Lillian Evelina Atkinson, AKA Lillian Bremerkamp. She was listed as the owner of the niche, and a widow. The California Death index lists her as Lillian Evelina Atkinson. Looks like she remarried after Frank's death, but as the owner of the niche, when she died her cremated remains were placed with Frank.
If you need anything else, just let me know.
He apparently was born before the marriage, and he was given the mothers last name and Mr. Reid married his mother and raised him from an infant as his own, just never changed the last name.

That is so strange. "Available" niche would mean a completely empty one. The fact that his niche is a double would mean that any family member could have used the space. You know, stuff happens, though, and maybe family members did not want to be cremated and they could have offered the space in his niche to a friend. It is highly unlikely that the family did not know Lynn Atkinson. In other words, the cemetery staff can't just say "well here's a half-empty niche that we can use." Family/heirs would have had to agree to it.
It may be an unsolvable mystery, but I will do what I can to figure it out and report back to you.

She must have had some connection with Frank Bremerkamp. Those niches are "companion" niches that hold the cremated remains of two people. A person's ashes can't just be placed in a companion niche with someone they have no relation to. I'm wondering about the person who told you they were not related. Did you get the name of who you talked to? I know that the employees don't usually give out too much info over the phone; they usually ask you to submit a request for "genealogical" information in writing. And at Inglewood, most of the time they won't give you anything unless it is over 50 years told. I'll see what I can find out the next time I'm there. What is your relationship to Frank? (I like to mention to them that I am doing research for a family member.)

When I processed your edits, I added the obituary also.
I am trying to document everyone buried in Riverview Cemetery. I added about 2,600 entries using the Find A Grave batch load process and am working on adding all of the details as I get time.
Anytime someone sends me edits, I try and take the time to add all of the details that I have for that individual or family.
If I can provide any assistance, please contact me directly at PRATTML@CHARTER.NET.

Thanks for the detailed research info. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to make this a solid case unless someone can fit all the pieces together or find her obit giving her surviving children.
I'd prefer not to make a link until this is resolved. At this time, I'll respectfully decline. Once something more has been done with Gertrude's memorial, feel free to resubmit.
Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

I have checked the funeral home record and the obituary in the newspaper and both say she is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville.
