RE: Richard & Lavina Alexander
Hi Carrie,
I received your picture of Richard & Lavina's gravestone on august 24, 2012 and thank you. I would greatly appreciate it if you would photo John H. Alexander's stone, as he is their son. He was born in 1843 and died in 1864. You did mention him in our original messages. There was also a daughter, Lavina, who died 1855 in Methuen, so I think she must be there also.
There is a son, Richard Babb Alexander, and I do not know where he is buried. He died after April 25, 1910 (he is in the 1910 census of Boston and showing as a prisoner--I have no information on why he was there). I was wondering if he might also be with the family in this cemetery.
Thank you for any help you might provide.

Could you try adding the pics again? I got a notice that you got them but I didn't see them.

Thank you so much for getting these pictures. I did not have any idea that all would be on the same stone (Less Lillian). My Grandmother did not tell me that. We already had the picture of Mattje's (Hindrik's first wife and my great great grandmother) from at leasat 60 years ago or more.

My Grandmother couldn't wait to get on to see them. We were suprised to see plants around their grave as there is only my grandmother's cousin left out there. It makes it look wonderful.

My grandmother says that Lillian (Hindrik's second wife) has to be buried with him, that she just has to be that she wouldn't have wanted to be buried anywhere else. So that is all I have to go on.

But she thanks you from the bottom of her heart,as she can no longer travel that distance herself. <3

RE: Richard & Lavina Alexander
Thank you so much. You have done a beautiful job. I am happy. Yes, John was their son. He was born in 1844 and died June 8, 1866. I will add him and hope that, at your convenience, you might get a photo of his grave. There was two other sons, Charles E. and Richard. There was a daughter, Arabella. I am not sure where all are buried, only Charles (my great, great grandfather)--he is buried in Cold Sprngs Cemetery in East Rochester and I have his photo.
Thank you for all you do for everyone and especially for me.

You are the best! You will never know what your kindness means to me and, I am sure, to many others before.
Thank you so very much.
