Hi Janet, I am also working on the Wolff Family buried at Congruity Cemetery, I have 4 generations of grandparents buried there. William Clyde "BILLY" Wolff is the son of William Thompson Wolff b.11/4/1932- d 9/29/2005 and is buried at Congruity. Clyde McQuaide Wolff & Lulu Estella Fry Wolff are "BILLY'S grandparents. Also Clyde McQuaide is listed twice. I wasn't sure how to correct this so that is why I am sending this message. I know how much time, dedication and energy you have put into Find A Grave and it is much appreciated, we all have the same interest and goals to remember that ones that have gone before us. Thanks again for your time.

Janet, I have been researching Young's in Westmoreland Co. and found a death certificate that would match up with M Mabrose Young. I believe there had been a transcription error. I have made an edit to his memorial.

Hi Janet

I'm researching Samuel Moorhead (1710 ? - 1801 ?), and came across your memorial for a Samuel Moorhead at Congruity Cemetery, Westmoreland Co., PA. Your memorial indicates he was a Captain and built Ft. Hand, and that he was a Revolutionary soldier. Can you tell me, please how you determined this Samuel Moorhead (at Congruity Cemetery; date of death: 1801) was that Revolutionary soldier?

The difficulty I've had in my research has been that there were multiple Samuel Moorheads in the PA area at that time.

If you could point me in the direction of your source of information, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

While doing some research of Congruity Church's Cemetery New Alexandria, Pa. I noticed that you posted a Jane Shields with no photo of a headstone. There is a photo listed which is very worn posted for Jane Shields. This photo was posted by a Melissa Strobel. You may want to check this one out because that means she is listed twice here. This photo may help you some what however it is worn & weathered very badly which many of the headstones here are because of their age.

Rufus Meeker
Hi Janet, I took some photos of the Meekers a while back. Today I was Otterbein Cem gain and noticed something I overlooked. Rufus' information is memorialized on the end of his parents' gravestone. I took a photo and just added it to his memorial. Just wanted to let you know, sorry I overlooked it before! Pat
