RE: Rev Astor Clinton Wuchter

The information I have (my mother gave me for a college report and which I did on Astor) with all the children's names which I gave you is dated from a Second Annual Reunion booklet from August 24, 1941. It starts with Hans Martin Wuchter (1724) with info on Jonathan (Moses' father) and then to Moses, who was Astor's father. There's actually a tree drawn with all the children from Moses and their children, and their children's children until 1941. Astor is my great grandfather on my mother's side. I don't see the name Oscar listed for any of Astor's brothers or sisters children either. Sorry.

On the family tree that I have there is no Oscar listed and Anna is listed as Annie in two places. The total of children is noted as 16: Astor, Alice, Abson, John, William, Milton, Mary, Annie, James, Albert, Elmer, Oliver, Robert, Samuel, Herman and Jane. Hope that helps.

RE: Johan Daniel Hamm and Anna Maria Sechler Hamm
Hmm, I wonder if the member with her birth 1732 might have a citation. For now, I will leave her birth c 1737 until more is known.

I have no record of a John born to Daniel and Anna Maria. Children I have are

1. Andreas, b. 13 Jun 1757, d. 22 Jan 1804 ( citation).
2. Elizabeth, b. 12 Oct 1758, bp. 25 Dec 1758 New Goshenhoppen church, Montgomery Co. (per The Pennsylvania German Society, Pennsylvania German Church Records Vol III) d. 17 Sep 1830, m. 18 Aug 1778 Jacob Fischer. Buried in St. Michael's, Tilden Twp. Berks Co.
3. Nicholas, b. c 1760.
4. Daniel, b. c 1761.
5. Richard, b. c 1762.
6. Barbara, b 20 Jan 1764, Jacksonville, Lynn Twp, Lehigh Co. , d. 8 Apr 1837.39 m. Jacob Koenig. Buried Jacob's Union Cemetery, Lynn Twp. Tombstone says b. Lynn Twp.
7. Magdalena, b. 20 Jun 1768, d. 29 Jan 1858, m. Matthias Schumen. Buried St. Michael's, Tilden Twp, Berks Co. In 1800, 1810 in Bern Twp, 1830 Upper Bern Twp, In 1850 living with Dau. and Gr. Son in Bern Twp.
8. Froneca (Veronica), b. 1774, Jacksonville, Lynn Twp, Lehigh Co., d. 1865. m. John Lutz. She is living with son in 1850, Lynn Twp and gr. son in 1860 Lynn Twp. Fronica per
Warren J. Ziegler, A Compendium of the families who worshipped at Jacob's Union Church during the past approximately 200 years, Ziegler, 1978.

Daniel and Anna Maria were married in New Goshenhoppen church per Donna R. Irish, Pennsylvania German marriages: Marriages and Marriage Evidence in Pennsylvania German churches, 1982, p 586. It was between 1747 and 1757, exact dates of marriages were not noted. Most sources I see center on 1755-6. Daniel Hamm and wife witness a baptism of Anna Maria Ried 2 Dec 1757. (Penn. German church records, VOl III).

RE: Johan Daniel Hamm and Anna Maria Sechler Hamm
I'd be interested particularly if you have any citation information for Anna Maria's b. of 1732 as I have had other sources indicate c 1737.
