Woodworth, Bertine & Cora, Logan Park Cem, Sx City, IA --Hello, Jan H.
In researching our family history, I have been stumped for years regarding one of the daughters of this couple you have photographed on Find A Grave
Bertine and Cora Woodworth, buried Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City IA.
The Woodworth daughter, Ora (we called her Orie), was married to my Dadís uncle Arthur Ewin.
Dad today is 91, widowed and doing very well, living in his own home yet alone.
Orie & Art were a wonderful, fun-loving couple, no children born to their marriage. In fact, I believe that Orie had no children at all. Art & Orie are both buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. I am still looking for their MARRIAGE....Art was divorced from his first wife in Hardin Co. IA, in the Spring of 1940.
Sorry, did not mean to get so long winded. Do you think you can help me with this WOODWORTH research?
My best to you and will wait to hear from you.

RE: Arthur R Kingham
Thanks for the response! Arthur did have a younger brother Clarence E. (1909-1959). I did a search in and came up with him in one family tree. Am going to contact that person. Maybe I will get lucky and they are related and know where the family pix are. If you don't have any info on Arthur's parents and would like to have that info let me know and I will send to you. They had in this tree. (Looked like Clarence's widow and his stepmother were still living. Again thanks for your response. Elaine

RE: Arthur R Kingham
Thank you for your response! Do you know if any of your Arthur Kingham's siblings or their children are still living? Are you still in contact with any of them? Would like to get in touch with them. We don't have any pix of Uncle George while he was in Hawaii. Was looking for friends who were there who might have pix from Hawaii in the family that might have Uncle George in them. Again, thanks for your response. I would say the odds are that this Arthur Kingham is the same one. If you would like a copy of the newspaper article let me know and I will send it to you. Gayle E. Arthur R Kingham
I am looking for an Arthur R. Kingham who was in the Army Air Corp on 07 Dec 1941 who was serving with and a friend of 2nd Lt. George Allison Whiteman who was KIA on same date. This Artur R. Kingham sent a letter to Uncle George's mother, Earlie Sanders Whiteman praising Uncle George's heroism. This letter was published in the Sedalia Democrat in Sedalia, Missouri. Are you related to this Arthur R. Kingham? If so do you know if he is the one described above? Would like to hear from you. Thank you! Gayle E. (Elaine) Kent

RE: Cora Woodworth
You are welcome for the pictures/info for Cora Woodworth. Her husband unfortunately does not have a marker either, I will post the information where he is buried to his memorial also.

I think someone sent that one to me. I usually get obituaries from the newspapers.

Has no clue what anything is said on gravestones, as he just copies other work from other sites on the internet. If he had been there and done the proper research he would have known the correct spelling

Have made the correction to his mother's maiden name, and will be glad to transfer him and any other family that you want to you.
