Minnie's husband named Henson
Pete, I found a couple of items which could answer two of your questions -- the marriage record for Minnie (Shrum) Bryan and W. H. Henson (not Elwyn P Henson, as I had gotten from somewhere) and the birth date of Jimmy Henson. Here is the record:

Name: W H Henson
Event Type: Marriage
Event Date: 17 Nov 1912
Event Place: Cooke, Texas, United States
Gender: Male
Spouse's Name: Minnie Bryan
Spouse's Titles and Terms: Mrs
Spouse's Gender: Female
Page: 492

(There is an actual image of this marriage record, so this 1912 is not a transcription error.)

Also there is a birth record for a Henson child on 14 Jun 1914: mother's name not listed (but transcriber picked up her nationality (Amer) as the name Ann Henson and father W. H. Henson. This record does not have a given name for this child. I found 2 birth records: an index which says child was female, but actual birth certificate data for that record lists child as male. I believe the first record is wrong about the gender and this was Jimmy and his mother was Minnie Bryan Henson.

Here is that record: Name: W H Henson
gender: Male
Wife: Ann (sic: actual image has blank)
Son: Henson
Event Type: Birth
Event Date: 13 Jun 1914
Event Place: Valley View, Cooke, Texas, United States
Gender: Male
Father's Name: W H Henson
Mother's Name: Ann (sic: This is blank and transcriber erred & turned Amer into Ann.)

Now, this leads me back to that 1930 census which shows Jimmy and Nina in the home of W. H. Henson, widowed "female". I believe this was this actually Minnie Henson (Mrs. W. H. Henson), their mother and W. H. Henson had died before 1930.

And THAT leads to another question: Minnie Bryan's husband did not die until 1915; did she divorce William Silas Bryan before 1912 to marry Henson??

Wish we could find the 1920 census!!

RE: Normand-Henson Family
I deleted the only pending correction I had on Ludger so you should have freedom to submit whatever you wanted to for Ludger Normand (biography, relationship links, etc., but I see you have submitted one for relationships already. You probably should at least TRY to get the current manager to transfer this memorial to you, but her write-up makes it appear she is very particular about transfers. At any rate, you can write up a biography and submit it to her through "Suggest any correction or addition" option, but again she seems to want actual references or documentation to corroborate the info.

Sounds like you are a very thorough researcher!! You have certainly uncovered some interesting stories.

RE: Normand-Henson Family
Hi, Pete!

I submitted that edit on Lutger Normand's memorial just yesterday. After I responded to your earlier inquiry about the birth/death/marriage dates for some of Nina Ruth Henson's family, I was curiously poking around to see what else I could find and found Lutger's burial site as you also did. Hopefully the owner of the memorial will be prompt!
