I am Lisa Kae Meeker Hathaway. My family line includes Overholtzer, Grove, Meeker, Mark (Mork in Norway), MacIntire, Fillman, and Roth. My husband James family line includes Hathaway, Roshong, Garhart, Levy, DeHaven, Diamond, and Westergom (Westergon). I started my genealogy research when my children were little, then life got really crazy and my research took a back seat. |
I had recently started up with my research again when I found Find A Grave. I love Find A Grave. It is a great way to connect to your past and with other people of the same mind set.
When I was young my parents would take our family cemetery hopping to visit family members that had past and discover more about our heritage. Through my parents' example I developed a strong sense of family and a love of visiting cemeteries. Find A Grave gives me a venue to express my family values, discover more of my family legacy and help others to find their family legacy. I love Find A Grave.
I am honored to become a photo volunteer to take pictures for others who are not able to visit the cemeteries in my area. Just send me your request and I will glady take photos of family members that have past. I live in Bechtelsville, PA which in Berks County and close to Lehigh and Montgomery Counties.
We are our ancestors immortality, through us they live on. They are our legacy, the ones who helped bring us into being. Honoring their memories and connecting to each other is our priviledge.

I noticed that you put flowers and comments on a couple of Garges memorials in Lansdale Cemetery, Mary T. Garges being one of them. You said she was a 5th cousin 3x removed. She is also an ancestor of mine. Not sure what degree, but her father and my g.g. grandfather Jacob Garges were brothers. I didn't see the Garges name in your list of research, so was just wondering how you tie into the family. Would love to hear from you.

Just added and linked his wife. You left flowers so thought you'd be interested. I'm not family.

maybe both infants are buried together and the stone doesn't reflect that fact

|Duke Clark||McCALL family connection|
You referred to William ANDERSON as your great-uncle. His mother as Sarah Jane (McCALL) ANDERSON and William is a 2nd cousin 2 times removed to me. Below is pointer to William's record in my online database.
To see my record go to INDEX and enter Clark, Du. I am the Jr.
I am missing some data and would appreciate getting information on your family line.

|Susan Makky||Denver B Scott|
I noticed your note that Denver is related to you by marriage. I am currently working on my Scott branch and would like to exchange information with any other Scott descendants if you are in contact with any.
|Cheryl Sue Cox||Huntingdon County, PA|
I am researching my LATTA family tree in Huntingdon County. I saw where you had posted that you were related to Jackson L. Grove of Shirley. I believe that he lived on Sugar Creek on the farm where my ancestor JOHN LATTA lived. I am wondering if you have any information about the farm. I have a description in the deed, and looking at it on a plat, I saw that a "J. Grove" was living in that area in 1874. Any information you can give me would be appreciated. I am at a brick wall on this one. I can't trace John back any further and I have not his grave. Also don't know a thing about his wife.
