RE: William and infant of Parker and Ellen C. Prigg
You are welcome. Those stones were both broken due to age, but the cemetery caretaker does a nice job of respectfully keeping things together it seems.

RE: LOUISA KELLER VAN WINKLE
Diane,
Thank you for your kind words. It is always a pleasure for me to help in any way that I can when it comes to the Find A Grave memorials listed. I do find a Louisa Keller (seven years of age) in the 1850 census records. (this matches her year of birth as 1843) She is living in Henry County, Indiana with a family named Hasty? Do you think this could be the same Louisa? Henry County is where she married her husband William...so I am wondering if this is her? I am not finding anything on a Phillip or Jane Keller in that area yet...but will continue looking. If I find something I will let you know.
Regards,
Debbie R.

HI Diane...I just checked and Louisa's memorial only has a birth year of 1843 so I'm a little confused on how you found matching dates for her and William...maybe just an "oopsie" ...the stone doesn't give a date at all just that she was the wife of William Wallace Van Winkle. Wish I could help you more!

Preserving the Past
RE: LOUISA KELLER VAN WINKLE
Diane,
I did some research late last night in the census records of 1870, 1880 and 1900. I found that William was a widower in the 1900 census and in the 1880 census he was married to his second wife Sarah, and they had a seven year old son together by the 1880 census. So, it appears from that record that Louisa died before 1873. I found William and Louisa in the 1870 census with their three children and that census indicated that Louisa was born about 1843. I updated her memorial to reflect this information. Birth year 1843 and date of death unknown at this time...but noted on memorial what the census records reflected. Do you know who Louisa's parents were? We could maybe track down more info on her through her family surname?

Let me know if you get something more concrete from one of the photo takers. The birth and death information from the cemetery records is obviously incorrect and is for William. You could maybe contact the cemetery as well and see if they have any other information on Louisa?

Happy searching,
Debbie R.

RE: LOUISA KELLER VAN WINKLE
Diana,
You will need to contact the person who took the photos of the headstone as they can probably help you. Their name appears underneath the posted photo.

I will not be going back over to the cemetery for quite sometime as I live in Ohio. If you find that the dates are incorrect let me know and I can change that if necessary. I put the dates on the memorials based on the cemetery records.
Sincerely,
Debbie R.

Diane: Made the corrections you suggested. This was data that came when the memorials were transferred to me.

RE: Morrison Family at Crown HiII Cemetery
Diane,
I just double checked. There is a memorial for Lewis. I was originally looking under "Lewis W" since that is how it is on the stone, but the memorial is under "Willoughby Lewis" & there is a photo posted. There were other names on the James Moorison monument & I'm not sure where to post them. These are the names:
Jane T Todd
Sarah Elizabeth (I posted under Sarah A)
and there was a 2nd Todd but I couldn't read the 1st name.

RE: Morrison Family at Crown HiII Cemetery
Diane,
I went back out to Crown Hill today and looked at that marker. This is what I could figure out:
Lewis Morrison
Nov 19, 1842
Aug 10, 1883

Since there is no memorial, do you want to create one & I will add the photos??? Or Do you want me to create the memorial??
