Bio and Links
Bio Photo I would like to thank all those people out there who seek after those who have gone before & leave a record of their life on earth for others to see. Many people are touched when they find a Memorial dedicated to their family member or friend. I have used “Find a Grave” as a critical source for genealogy. I’m grateful for the pictures & info that others have created to help me link “All” my ancestors together. My goal is for anyone looking for my family to be able to see the “Whole Family”. I would like to thank all those who have corrected me and have patience with me.

My Name is Roderick Winston Graham. I was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in Niu Valley, Oahu, Hawaii since two years old. I have lived in Laie/Kahuku since 1983.

I do Family History for many of my Family lines, including my wife's Hawaiian lines: Cummings, Longs, Kanialama, Kaaihue/Kaianui. Her Tahitian lines: Terooatea and Teihotaata.

My fathers Paternal lines from the South: Graham, Grimmett, Ozmer, Deloach, Ammons, Parker, Tigner.

My fathers Maternal lines from the North: Passmore, Came, Wood, Elder, Mosher, Lincoln, Blair, Moore, Brown, Reynolds, Knight, Brackett, Frost.

My mothers Paternal lines from the North: Tate, Gekeler, Gluck, McGee, Painter, Barnhart, Ennis, Antes, Holts.

My Mothers Maternal lines from the North: Davis, Sage,Bogaert, Miller, Winfield, West, Wood, Schoonmaker, Youngblood, Holland.

My Mother who raised me and her lines from Hawaii to Japan: Honda, Doi, and Nagano.

My family names come out of Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Maine, Massachussetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virgina.

My Puritan family was on the Mayflower and many did not make it that first winter. After my Puritan ancestors survived the winters of Massachusetts many moved into the Southern part of Main. They spent about 200 years there before moving West. This is how the Came family moved to Montana/Idaho.

My family from the South starts in James Town, Virginia and moves South through the Carolinas down into Georgia.

One of my family lines comes out of “New Netherland”, the Dutch New York: Davis, Bogaert, Miller, Winfield, Schoonmaker, Youngblood are family names that made their start in New York during the early part of the 17th Century.

Both on my Father and Mothers side are full of Quakers from Pennsylvania and they got their start with William Penn in the later part of the 17th Century. My Father and Mother have a common ancestor in the early Quaker movement, Humphrey Buxcey. He is their 7th Great Grandfather. Some of those Quaker families were: Brown, Buxcey, Painter, Passmore, Pusey and Tate.

I had 8 ancestors on the Mayflower and this comes from my Mothers Maternal lines:

Cornelia De Vos and her marriage
Mr. Graham:
I am working on my Davis line and I see in the write up you have for Christoffel Davids that he married Cornelia De Vos on the 9 March 1624/1625.
That is not possibly if she was in born in 1626. I will keep looking and maybe I can find a marriage record for them.
Sincerely
Ingrid

Sorry, I accidentally hit leave message. Also you have Juliette born in Honolulu, Maui. Did you mean Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii or Hana, Maui?

Aloha! There are couple of typos. You have Henry & Suzannah daughter Juliette birth year as 1975 and Henry's DOD as April 31, 1931. There is only 30 days in April. His DOD should be April 22, 1931.

RE: THANKS
You are welcome. It's nice to know that family actually check out the memorials from time to time. I don't remember if this is something your requested or just one I took when I was out taking pictures. But I'm glad you saw it.

Mary Frankie Graham Carriker
Mary Frankie Graham married into my Cariker family (Joseph B Cariker) and in the sources I found were her death certificate. It states she was buried in the Antioch Church Yard in Thomaston, GA. In Joseph B Cariker's details it states his burial place is Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Thomaston, GA. I am supposing this is the same as the Antioch Church Yard. Hope this helps get her burial place on her Find A Grave memorial.

Am curious where Joseph's death information was found. I could find it nowhere on FamilySearch.org or Ancestry.com.

I believe we are distantly related, but by marriage only.
My cousin is Elizabeth Beckham.
Do you by any chance know what became of her two children?

I wonder if she got remarried after 1880 US Census.

William "Grimes" Graham
I was wondering what made you come to the conclusion William Graham died in Marlboro , SC. I have seen nothing to prove this being this William Graham.
