I started working on my family tree in 2003. Now, many years later I have learned so much about my family, living and deceased.

On my mother's side, they came from Switzerland under the name SAXER. On my father's side, they came from Germany - Austria - Hungary - Czech under the name NEUGEBAUER. The Saxers for the most part settled in Wisconsin in 1854 but also elsewhere. The Neugebauers came more recently in 1911 and settled in Texas.

I live in Indiana, near Chicago.

Hi Laura!
Yes, lots of Saxers and Muelis in Dickinson Co.. :) the list is long....

They are both in my family tree. I suggest hoping over to Ancestry and checking out my Mangold Keller tree. I'll send you an invite if you can't see it fully. I will need an an email address to invite you.

The booklet of which you speak, I have. Its not complete and has mistakes throughout. Is there a specific Saxer or Meuli family not here on FAGrv that you are in need of?
