Michael McHale
Hey Michael,

Wanted to update you on information I have discovered recently. Through Thomas Hospod's information (baptism record, marriage record) I have been able to determine that our Michaels are not one in the same. "My" Michael was from Killmoremoy/Ballina, Mayo, Ireland and his parents were Michael McHale and Sara Cuff, from baptism records. He died in Kansas City in June 1916, supported by death certificate and probate records naming my grandmother.

It's all very interesting, no? I guess there's still a bit of a chance we're related, because as I recall "your" Michael was from the same area of Ireland. If you find anything else, please share. BTW -- my sister and I have records/trees out on

I rarely see e-mails on findagrave, so a better way to contact me is

Take care,
John Nesselrode

The Hacke's
Hello. Thank you for sending me the parental links for Eileen Hacke Matzen. I've sent you a couple of name edits for her parents as you've added punctuation to the name fields where there shouldn't be any as it messes up any searches.

The only punctuation allowed would be a hyphen or apostrophe in the last name. If there are other spellings, those should be mentioned in the bio field only. The same goes for the nickname. The system automatically puts quote marks around the name so there's no need for you to add them as well (this too messes up any searches).

Just wanted to let you know.

Thanks again,

Sorry...I am of no help when it comes to the Gallagher family...They are the most elusive branch of my tree.

RE: Edits
Hi again, Mike. Glad I was able to contribute a tiny bit to our mutual history. I'm still doing lots of digging, and focusing most of my efforts right now on this branch of my ancestry, so I'll keep you posted if I come up with anything new. Thanks for all of the previous and continuing work that you've done.

RE: McHale
We got a hit on (I think), found him in 1930 census in Detroit, found draft card, checked cemeteries around there. Mt. Elliot has a web page with a place to inquire -- they replied with all that info.

Do you know where Michael McHale is buried?
