Bio Photo Got started on what my friends refer to as "those dead people" from my parents. Arthur and Hazel Parent Darden roamed the country going from cemetery/library/historical society looking for family. I live in CA so it is hard for me, but love it when I find a connection across the country

RE: Bragg, Robert
Hi, Bob Bragg was my cousin. I was actually contacting you about his father's memorial when I saw his.
I sent you a direct email which came back to me as undeliverable.
Since you're no longer on this site, I hope you will get this!

Took grave photos today for Edwin and Mary Weber at Oakwood in Townshend, Vermont. Created a memorial for Mary and transferred it to you. Photos posted to both memorials in Find A Grave -- 126178373, 135125485.

Are you on I am, and I found documents for Edwin Weber, including his draft card, his New York military service extract, and the order form for his gravestone.

If you haven't seen those I can download and email them to you.

RE: Loudon Park

I went back today and got a better picture of the overall plot that focuses on the right section. I uploaded this photo to the Elderdice memorials and to Maximillian Laudeman's memorial. I also uploaded to Maximillian's memorial a photo of a grave stone that I think belongs to him.

RE: Loudon Park

The two Haertig photos have been uploaded, as have those for Babbetta, Claude, Marion, and Annie Louise Laudeman.

It turns out that "James" belongs to the Henderson side of the plot (K-100 South half). If you look at the overall plot photo, you can see that there is not much separation between the three faded stones on the left and and the two childrens' mini-obelisks on the right. Hence my confusion at first.

You will, no doubt, be interested to know that there are some Elderdice family members also buried in K-100 (North half):

Rosa M: buried 11/3/1905 at age 45
Irwin: 9/28/1911 @ 33
Irvin: 11/4/1919 @ 74y/9m/18d
Eugene: 10/14/1925 @ 44

K-102 (South half), which is the next closest plot, contains the Fawsett family, and K-102 (North half) contains the Holton family. Let me know if you are interested in either of these.

Ohh...and also Barbetta Laudeman (1/31/1833-2/5/1882)

RE: Loudon Park

The Haertigs are actually in Section RRR, Plot 375. There's William (1881-1958) and Madeleine (1890-1919). If you create memorials I will upload the photos.

I also found the Laudeman plot, but most of the stones are very hard to read. Do you have a list of those that you think might be there? Here is what I can make out so far:

James __
Claude Maximilian (10/30/1897-5/17/1891)
Another son (Mar___?) who died young
Annie Louise (2/21/1867-1895)

There are also the names Parsons, Henderson, and Webb nearby but I'm not sure which, if any, of them belong to the Laudemans. I can do a plot search to see who all is actually buried there.

RE: Charlotta Zastrow Osenburg

Thanks for the information; I have added the relationship. Would you like me to transfer Charlotte and Christian Schluderberg to you? I don't have any connection to them; I found them while trying to fulfill a photo request for another Schluderberg.

I have a copies of the headstone order and Vermont death certificate for Edwin Weber from They show him as buried at Oakwood in Townshend.

I also have his WW I draft registration card.

Ancestry has a death record for Mary V. Weber in Charlotte, Florida.

If you want a copy of the Edwin Weber death certificate or draft card, let me know and I'll email them.

If you want to check to see if Mary Weber is buried in Townshend, you might try the town clerk or cemetery commission:

I'm working in Virginia, and get home to Vermont only about once a month. If you want, when the snow is gone in the Spring I can try to stop in Townshend and photograph the grave(s).
