RE: M Getz
Oh you are so welcome.
The donation is a very sweet gesture. If you would still like to do that, as I don't expect you too....
I tend to support local charities as I truly see where the donations go that way. Some other larger ones just not sure whom you can trust.
Anyway this is one I contributed too:
Thank you,
It meant much to me to find her burial site. I may get another pic on a sunny spring or summer day. 😃

RE: M Getz
Hello again,
I believe I found Margaret's stone, but the date of death is slightly off what is in her memorial. Chronologically this should be hers......since you included Pearl as part of her name that is what caught my eye as Margaret is not stamped into the stone. Please check the photos I uploaded at your earliest convenience as if it is not hers I will delete them.
Decided the snow could be of help in reading these with the low light we had today.

RE: M Getz
Actually I reached out to you when I was going through the cemetery records on find a grave of those without photos. I came across Margaret's and was excited to see a plot number to search for. Since theyre in chronological order of their death I can go by that date too.
I was just out there yesterday had I thought to look at those without photos as perhaps you'd have her grave photo now.
It was only 16 degrees and my phone just got too cold to take any more pics but I'm determined to go back soon and look, especially after reading her story.
Everyone has a story that should be told and or heard even in death and through burial sites. :)

M Getz
I noticed you have the plot number for M Getz at the State School cemetery. I will try to locate the stone and get a photograph of it for you.
The markers are placed in order of the patients death and the plot number corresponds to that too so unless her stone is too worn I should easily find it.
Some stones the numbers at the top are hard to read or with the others the names or dates are hard to read.
Various daylight hours and amount of sun light often help assist in revealing the less legible stones.
M Getz, her death is right on that bubble of the years the quality of stones changed. Fortunately the quality changed back by the later 40's and 50's so I've concluded.
My grandmother was a registered nurse at the state school so I have a fondness for those buried there.
But I will try to find it once we have another warm sunny day.
Laura :)

RE: Archibald & Barbara Ferrel, Pennsville, Cemetery
Archibald was living in Lehigh Twp. in 1880, the year before he died. That's where the cemetery is located. I don't know anything about the history of this cemetery.

RE: Eulalio Molina
Eulalio Molina was not adopted. His parents were: Nicolas and Ursula of west Texas. The only Ortegas in my family tree were Refugio and Salome from the El Paso area, and not related by blood/adoption to Eulalio. I am researching family from the Marfa, Pecos, Van Horn, Sierra Blanca and El Paso Texas. Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding your and my family in the area.

Thank you for your help.

Yes actually there is a church that oversees the cemetery. It is St Josephs in Fort Stockton, its the original church that has been there forever and is supposed to have all the records. It is a Catholic church so they may have marriages and baptisms also. I never made it to the office to try to get a transcription of the cemetery since so many of the stones were lost due to time. There were so many memorials that were not on Find a grave, I photographed almost the entire cemetery and added memorials. (There was a small area I didn't get to before I had to leave, but that was a newer area). My husbands family is from there from over 4 generations back and they all was a part of that church and all buried in that cemetery. If I remember correctly there is only two cemeteries in town, East Hill for whites and St Josephs was hispanics, There is another listed on Find A Grave called "Catholic Cemetery" Those buried there are in is St Josephs, Find A Grave has not merged them. Good luck, if you find out any of my memorials are your relatives, Ill be happy to transfer.
