Jeff, I am not the contributor of the memorial. I just took a pic of the cemetery.

As a tip - next time could you put a link to the memorial so it's easier to find for the person you are messaging.

Good luck.

RE: Evangelical Cemetery
Yes, you had told me that before but twice is better than not knowing.

Update on the cemetery. We sent out a letter and received a lot of response. My husband, our daughter and me mowed the cemetery in May in memory of our son, Brad Holweger, who is buried over there. There is now a guy we hired that mows it every week and it looks SO nice now. We put in a lot of work but it surely paid off. My husband and I also bought some benches is memory of our son and put over there. I am content with what we've done.

We have also located the Pleasant View Church records for which I am very thankful as we thought they were gone forever.

I still go over and weed and give your parents and grandparents an extra pass to keep the markers neat.

Evangelical Cemetery
I have been trying to update the records of Evangelical United Brethern Cemetery (aka Pleasantview) in rural Emerado where Issac and Mary Kaiser are buried as well as Paul and Arlene Kaiser. I am looking for a relation of Paul to Issac and Mary, is he their son?

I was so happy to see the picture you had posted on Paul and Arlene's site.

The cemetery has a perpetual fund for maintaining the cemetery but that fund is very low and it cannot afford to pay for the upkeep anymore.

We do have five families now that are volunteering to mow beginning this May and we will each take a month and not charge anything.

We are now just asking families who have someone buried there to remember the cemetery at some time or another with whatever a family can give. If you would like updates just let me know.
