Bio and Links
Bio Photo My introduction into genealogy was in the mid 60's when my maternal grandmother (in her late 80's at the time) gave me the info, from memory, on all her descendants. In the early 90's I found that Nifty notebook and began my search for the rest of my family and have been an avid researcher since. Find A Grave has afforded me the opportunity to find and identify many more of my relatives than I ever thought possible.

I've always enjoyed roaming old country cemeteries and seeing the myriad of unusual shapes, sizes and styles of headstones. I've recently started taking photos in the cemeteries in my area. Please feel free to use them, but only for your personal use and not for copying to other websites.

Some of the surnames I'm researching are Elliott, Wornick, Pate, Pennington, Magill, Moore, Martin, Tennison, Hamilton, Hall, Sadler, Roberts and Christian.

George D. Carter
Thanks Bill, for trying to locate the headstone for George, it may have not have one there, as it would have been a very old stone as he had died in 1918.

I do thank you for your time that you spent in trying to locate this. May God bless your efforts in helping others also.
