Thank You!
Ms. Fischer,

Thank you so kindly for posting Bill Wealot's photograph of Harriet Thomas's Gravestone out at Cary Cemetery. The last I spoke to him, he had not come across it and I thought the gravestone was lost or destroyed - Again, Many Thanks! - JP

RE: Charles Kindrick
Hi Madeleine,

I am searching on Ancestry but have not signed up yet. I too heard family lore that we have Indian heritage but have not been able to find evidence of this. The Rainbolt line--Mary Jane Rainbolt, Charles' wife--is actually descended from Germany (Reinboldt) and I followed it back to 1650!

Thanks for any info,

Mary Sciotto

Charles Kindrick
Hi Madeleine,
I am searching for more info on Charles Kindrick (or Kendrick) but have found nothing on his parents, etc. He is my great grandfather, my paternal grandmother Jennie Kendrick Shortz was his daughter.
Thank You,
Mary Sciotto (Shortz)

Rachel Jackson Memorial
Dear Friend, I would be most happy to transfer management of this memorial to you, as I have no special attachment to it and you obviously do.

Just please let me know your member number.

Regards, Jerry Stephens

RE: Photo of grave of Charles & Rachel Jackson
No problem. Sadly I guess I never realized until I couple of weeks ago people were ignorant even in death to have a cemetery spot for "color". But we can't change the past. They had a very lovely stone and it's sit on a pretty hill side next to a tree line. I ope you find out more about her. She sounds like a wonderful lady. Take good care, and I'm glad I could help.

Familial links,
Hi Madeleine,
You have made some dupes of my memorials, but, I know who you are and understand that ... Would you please get in touch with me via e-mail so we can discuss the family tree ... Also, is there a chance you have a copy of the Rainbolt Genealogy Book ??? If not, would be more than happy to e-mail the pages that you would be interested in...
We are in the process of trying to update the book, whether it be adding, subtracting, modifying, editing the data found within...
