Am a grandmother from Canada. Am interested in finding the correct births & deaths from the gravestones, for my family tree. If I have any photos of people listed, I would like to put them on. Am addicted to doing family research and found this site does help for information, for which I am searching.

You're welcome also strange cemetery east and west one on each side of the church. Why not just have one name not sure what part of the grave right the church belong too. I have seen these markers before but they were for older markers.

Ocean View Requests
Ocean View Cemetery is a privately owned cemetery and they will not give information to a third party, you must be a relative.

If you contact their office (through email) and request their location I would take a photo for you. They would be willing to do a lookup if the request came from a family member. If you cannot figure out your connection, say you are a cousin.

Once you have the location just enter it into the memorial page and it will show on the photo request. Also, the staff at Ocean View can tell you if there is a headstone so that if there is not you can just cancel your photo request.

Thank you,

RE: John M. Gray
Hello Diane,

The stone in the photo belongs to Clara Gray 1892-1964. There is no visible marker for John Gray. It appears that the Gray marker was never updated with info on John. I assume that Clara was his wife. I have indicated on the photo description that there is no visible marker for John as well as I have sent an edit to indicate with the plot info that there is no visible marker. Thanks.

Yes I do see her name on the photo which I didn't see when I was there. Amazing how sometimes names etc get clearer in a photo than in real life. I will go back to see if her date of death is on there. A lot of the stones there are not readable but maybe more in the summer they might become clearer.
