|I started do my family Hx about 3yrs ago when I was injured and could not return to work. I found that the head stones are of great help in finding information about my family.|
I have always loved seeing some of the old stones while I was at Ft Knox, Ky. But also sad that they were left to disaray due to no family members being near, so thought that this was a good way to help make sure that someone's love ones are not forgotten.
I am looking for the Scott, Hanna, Chishoim, Hargrave, Thomas family. Have found that some of the familys are much easyer to find than others.
Please feel free to use any pic that I post to use as you need/want.

Sorry I do not know anything about this individual. I was just passing the cemetery and thought that I would add the headstones to find a grave.

I have checked and I do not have an Agnes Eugenia Rose nor any Hanna's in the family tree. Sorry, I can't be of any help to you.
God Bless and never never give up,

I'm not sure what Roger Holst has to do with the Rose Family.
But to answer your question, No, I'm not related to the Rose family but my son-in-law is. Since I am doing his his family tree, I might be able to help you (at least I will try). Most of the ones that I know about are from Arkansas and North Carolina. Do you have a specific name?

Certainly you may use them. Cheryl
|Judith Lee Shaw||RE: Alexander Chisholm|
I have a lot of pictures and info from my mother, Gladys Shaw. She passed away in 2005, so things have been a bit scattered since then. Some of your family probably knew her. I know that I have one of the whole Hargrave family and Elizabeth looks pregnant in the picture.
Either I have wrong info about Alexander or Catherine or you do. I was told that they were born in Scotland and that Catherine was from the House of Sinclair and Alexander was a coachman. The story goes that they ran away and went to Nova Scotia.
Fact or fiction, I do not know. Have you heard that story??
I did not know about the reunion, but would love to share what I have. Let me know the best way to get in touch and share more. I am in So. California & my e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org
|Judith Lee Shaw||Hargrave family|
Alexander Chisholm and Catherine Sinclair were my great great grandparents. Their daughter Jane married James Joseph Hargrave and their daughter Jennie was my maternal grandmother. I have a lot of information about this family if you are interested.

|Gene Herzer||Marie Thoma|
Kim, This refers to your inquiry about the relatives of Marie Thoma buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in River grove, IL.
Marie was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Scheller Thoma who were the parents of my mother Rose Thoma Curtis Herzer who is also buried in that plot. I know that my grandparents came to the Chicago area in the early 1900s and lived in Cicero,IL. She was born in Maumee, OH. and had a brother Andrew and I remember a Lib Blanchong also of Ohio. Let me know if this ties in with your information and I would be happy to research this further.
