My email is rebeccaldoan@hotmail.com, but you don't have to add me as a guest. Just check your lineage to see if this guy is one of your ancestors:

My great-grandmother was a Williams from Blaine, Lawrence Co, KY, Find A Grave #33660102. Are we connected through this Williams family? BD

Adams in Huntsville Ohio cemetery
I have fulfilled your request for this person and posted the photo today. I am dissatisfied with the result. Will be going out here again end of week and will retake it now that I know where it is.
That person who entered the memorial surely didn't give us any help by posting just a last name and death date. Was like finding a needle in a haystack. I'm glad I have tenacity in these matters. I went to the library and finally came across this person. Ad we are in luck.
I also got an obituary for this person as well as her husband> The stone only lists him as "daddy" and her as "mama". The daughter's name s okay but with no dates, etc sure makes finding them hard.
That being said, I can scan and email the obits to you and maybe you will want to make proper memorials for this family. Let me know: officerearp@yahoo.com If I can be of further assistance, let me know. Arizona Kid 46520230

RE: Ruth Hartsook
Did you find out if Noah also had tuberculosis? I understand about 1 in 5 people contracted TB during that era.

Amazing to think about all the incurable diseases our ancestors faced. It's a wonder anyone lived to adulthood!

Glad I could help. :)

RE: Ruth Hartsook
Hi Yvonne,

Sorry... that was the entire citation. This part is the URL:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1951-36863-28497-11?cc=2128172

Ruth Elizabeth Hartsook is on line 5, easy to overlook because her name is written in tiny letters beside the giant "January 1901".... and her record is to the immediate right. Age shows 0 years, 5 months, 29 days. Born in Milo, Franklin County, OH; died of Tubercular meningitis.

The next page (130, line 5) indicates she was the daughter of Noah and Bessie Hartsook, and was buried in Union Cemetery on January 3, 1901.

Never really sure how to provide a citation for those old records because it's all handwritten on one line across a two-page ledger.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you think this is someone other than the child in your memorial.
