Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a boomer who has learned to enjoy geneology and family history. I am an NSDAR member, grew up a military brat who moved every 2-3 years as a child. Am living in, shall we say, a warmer climate in the U.S. and hope to die here. Most ancestors born and lived in Ma., Vt., NH, upstate NY and Maine. I am unable to travel back to NE, so I fully appreciate any cemetery records, especially with gravestone photos, that can be provided by those who are able to do the tedious work of documenting this history. Thank you to all who add memorials and records. You are a blessing to those who are unable to do the same.

RE: Carl & Susan K Chamberlain
Yeah I only find them in directories living in Lancaster thru 2008 but nothing else. Also I was thinking that Susan's maiden name couldn't be Kimball if James & Susan only had two daughters. But she would have to be a granddaughter with possibly the middle name Kimball. I'll have to ask at the cemetery, because the one thing that does bug me is someone put an American flag on that side of the headstone. Will let you know if I find out anything.

Carl & Susan K Chamberlain
I forgot to tell you that also on the back of the Kimball stone with Carl & Susan's info it says that they married June 5, 1964... in case you wanted to know that info too. :)

RE: Susan Kimball at Summer Street Cemetery
You are very welcome. And that doesn't sound strange to me at all. Our 5-yr old granddaughter has been "helping" us in the cemeteries since she could walk and every time she comes to visit she asks if we can go to the cemetery. She likes to clean off stones, straighten flowers and flags (and then she salutes the soldier's graves). She always asks if we can have a picnic there too. lol So we have often stopped for a little picnic just above your Kimballs on top of the hill under a big old tree. I am determined that my grandchildren will grow up with respect for all the graves in cemeteries. :)

If you are looking for anyone else in this area just let me know.

Okay... I think I got them all transferred to you. On the back of the main Kimball headstone is the name Chamberlain... Carl H, born Apr 20, 1940 and wife, Susan K, born May 26, 1943. I assume she is a Kimball, and apparently they are both still alive so I photographed it but didn't enter them.

You are very welcome. Susan's daughters, their husbands, and an infant of Evelyn's are all in that plot too.

I just entered their memorials with pics and what info I could find quickly. You are welcome to their memorials, if you would like them, so you could add more info.

James Edgar Giles
Hello MEG,

Currently, you have an open Photo Request for James Edgar Giles in the Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua NH. Although he is buried with his parents, he has no marker. Please let me know if you'd like an "area" photo of where he is buried as that is all that can be done. Otherwise, please remove your Photo Request.

Thank you in advance!
