Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love Find A Grave! It is a great geneology tool for finding your friends and family passed over and lots of family still here! I am seaching for Thomas, Meadows, Alford, and Carpenter on my father's side from Putnam County West Virginia. Including Confederate Soldiers ancestors and POW's. I search for Francis, Skaggs, Rigsby and Fyffe on my Mother's side in Kentucky and Ohio, which includes my Cherokee heritage including Martha Cothron Skaggs of whom Martha, Ky was named after. Also Revolutionary DAR ancestors and living Bluegrass, Christian legend, Ricky Skaggs. I work to link all of my family members, so that future generations will be able to find their roots in the tree of life.

Stanley Dunkle 153519453
Your Stanley Dunkle is really my Dane Stanley Dunkle,#173864703, who for years was the pastor of the church where I grew up. If you delete your record, I will add his father to mine and you'll have all the information. Or whatever other arrangement you want to make. I'm all for getting families together on FindaGrave. Ruth

RE: Audrey Francis Ford
Hello. I have some sad news. I did message you on facebook also. Grandpa Ford (Popeye) passed away last Thursday. His funeral is Saturday (19th) at Oliver Cheek in Ashville, Ohio. 1 to 3. I thought I would let you know.

You're very welcome. I will be posting a picture of the permanent headstone once it's been placed. I'm not sure of the timeline on that. This is a new section that's been opened up a few months ago and all of the interments still have temporary markers.

RE: Skaggs in Ok
That is interesting. One man told me that people need to be careful about digging in the past ~ they may find something in their family tree that they wished they didn't find. There are some Skaggs buried in McCurtain County. If you need some obits looked up, give me names & dates and I'll be happy to look for them. Have a nice day

RE: Skaggs
If you find a link to the ones in McCurtain County, I will be happy to transfer the ones I have created & I may be able to find the obituaries at the library. I'll need the dates of death. We have a pretty good Genealogy Society, with copies of obits back to about 1907. If I can help, let me know. Have a nice day.

Skaggs
Are you related to the Skaggs in McCurtain County, Oklahoma? There are a few buried in Pollard Cemetery. I found the obituary for Clinton Skaggs, who was buried in Huntsville Cemetery in Ark. & sent it to his memorial. Clinton was the son of Freeman Skaggs, brother to W.C. Skaggs (he had a son named William) of Idabel, Erwin Skaggs of Broken Arrow, OK, Corley Skaggs of Huntsville, Ark & he had a sister named Mrs. Everett Clark of Hindsville, Ark. Years ago, there was a Skaggs Funeral Home in Idabel, Oklahoma.
