Hi Bonnie,

Mary Edna Dury Hamilton was my Great grandmother on my mom's side. I recently did DNA testing on my uncle and he showed up as 70& English, my mom always felt a pull to England. Have you been able to link any Dury's to England.

Jacob & James E Funk
Hi I noticed that you had left flowers on their graves at Mound Prairie Cemetery in IL. I just thought I'd let you know that I have posted photos of their tombstones, if you're interested.

Jacob Beard
You wrote: 'Hi, my aunt asked me to contact you about Jacob. His sister is my 4th great
grandmother. We are researching her side of the family. I see that you mentioned that there is no record or memorial for Jacob and was wondering how you know he is there and if you are a cousin of mine or if you know about this family. Any
information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks; Bonnie and my aunt Laura.'

It is believed by myself and a church historian, although no record remains, that Jacob is interred in Henry Warstler's Cemetery as he was a member of that church and lived in the immediate vicinity. Back then the cemetery was operated by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, which is located directly across the street. Members of the church were interred in the cemetery at no cost. His funeral is recorded in the church records. Almost all members of the church at that time are interred in this cemetery.

I computerized the cemetery's records and worked closely with the church regarding the oldest of the burials.

My 2nd great aunt, Mary Loretta Smith, married Rolandus Homer Beard and they had 11 children. Rolandus was a son of Benjamin J and Catharine Hissner Beard. These folks are also interred in Henry Warstler Cemetery along with Rolandus and Mary's children and their families.

RE: We Seem to Be Related
Mercy is my 7th Great-Aunt. Timothy's son, Amos is my 6th GGF. I haven't done Mercy's leg in my tree yet. You may know that Timothy and his wife, Margaret (my 7th GGM) are buried in Cromwell, CT.

I been finding this fascinating but sometimes very confusing trying to figure out some legs. I've contacted a few other relatives while doing this and it's so exciting when I get responses. I grew up in Middletown/Portland, CT but have been living in Northern Virginia since 1976. Are you in CT? ---Carolyn

RE: We Seem to Be Related
Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for the quick response. I didn't realize the email didn't include the name. It is Timothy Sage, (1678-1725), Middletown, CT. He is my 7th Great-Grand-Father. You left a flower saying "grandpa".

RE: Donald Lind Winchell
Hello Bonnie,

I'm actually related to Donald through his mother, Edna Lind Winchell. I'm a Lind descendant and Edna is my third cousin twice removed.
