Eleanora Walter's Will
Kathleen,

In reading through Eleanora's will, the name Praedicow is mentioned in numerous places and always spelled the same way. So I am assuming this is the correct spelling. Interesting document.

RE: People buried at Lot
Hi Kathleen,

Eleanora's last will and testament is online. Here is the link: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/mojudicial/images.asp?id=13814&party=Walter,%20Eleonore&case=17272&date=1889&County=St.%20Louis%20City&courtType=Probate%20Court&reel=C%2037776

Pick on Collection 1 and scroll down to p.3. She talks about her last daughter by her 2nd husband, Carl Herman Praedicow. Hope this helps.

RE: People buried at Lot
Kathleen,

Here are all the people buried in Calvary Cemetery, Section 007, Lot 0065:
1. Eleanora Roederer Walter - buried 6-14-1889 (she was the daughter of Franz and Thekla Roederer who immigrated with their entire family from Obershopfein, Germany to St. Louis in 1834. Franz and Thekla were my 3x gr-grandparents).
2. Anton Walter - husband of Eleanora, died in 1858 (although he isn't listed as buried in this plot, his name is on the gravestone with Eleanora so we assume that he is buried with her).
3. Mary Bergholtz - buried 5-13-1960; daughter of Eleanora and her 2nd husband Carl Praedicow)
4. Anna F. Guhman - buried 6-10-1884, daughter of Eleanora and Anton; died at the age of 27 leaving her husband and 2 children
5. John Walter - buried 7-12-1877; infant grandson of Eleanora and Anton, son of John B. Walter and his wife Mary.
6. Mary Walter - buried 12-14-1891; age 12; daughter of John B. Walter and his wife Mary.

I thought you would be related to the Helds. Are you related to the Roederers?

RE: People buried at Lot
Hi Kathleen,
Can you give me a little more help? I don't have a list of the graves by lot and section. If you can tell me one person who is buried in Calvary, Lot 7, section 65, I can probably let you know who else is there. Is it one of the Helds? Thanks.

Lieut. Joseph E. Burchill
Hi Kathleen,

I've added the photo you requested of Lieut. Burchill's grave. Hopefully those other family names are helpful to you as well. One note - the full plot location is Section 18, Range 18, Plot X, Graves 6-7 - Section 18 is massive, and without listing the Plot #, this grave is virtually unfindable. So if you want to update the memorial accordingly, it might make it easier in the future. Best wishes, M
