In search for my own family genealogy, I've come across so many tombstones that are warn and unreadable. I am joining those in search of preserving the rich history they provide by making the information I can discern available for those who can't see the tombstones themselves. In doing so I've created a number of memorials for people that aren't related to me (and some that are), and I would be happy to transfer management or add information as someone discovers them.

Just be patient with me. I am a graduate student and working, and sometimes things get a little hectic.

George Pullman
Please add George Pullman (1835-1864) to the list of Ellery's children. He was my great great grandfather. He was in the Michigan 5th Cavalry during the Civil War. He died in Andersonville at 29 years of age (grave 515).
He had 3 children Charles (my great grandfather) and Albert; third child must have died young I have no name or gender

Harvey (MI 19th) and Walter (MI 13th) survived the war. Paschal was
killed at Peach Tree Creek during the battle for Atlanta

Also daughters of Ellery: Clarassa (Clara) born 1852; Harriett 1854

Note to Lee: are you related to Elliot?

Elisha Pratt
Really appreciate your photo of Elisha Pratt's tombstone. I can make out the name, and I think the reference to Michigan 19th. He was my ancestor and I have his Civil War pension records showing his death date as 1891. There was another Elisha Pratt in Allegan County that was also a veteran, so maybe you picked up the other Elisha's death date? I submitted correction. Means so much to see the tombstone.
